In-Depth Talk With Rapper-Songwriter Diddy BMW
After “Don’t Try It,” “Dry Whip,” and “GiGi,” Diddy BMW returns with an explosive number, the track titled “Shot You,” in which he shares his raw and authentic life experiences with dominating confidence and swag. We had an in-depth talk with the rapper about his new song and upcoming plans.
Congratulations on your latest releases, we loved your new single, “Shot You”! Please tell us more about the meaning behind your new track.
The meaning of my new track is like a feeling of redemption, a feeling of triumph, a feeling of victory. I was just rapping about how I was feeling at that moment.
How did you sound evolve in the past few years?
I feel I evolved by experiencing more about life, going through more pain and being able to still never let my problems or situations get the best of me. I think my music is just getting better. I’m becoming a better person overall and I’m just a better version of myself from when I first started rapping in 2014.
What style best describes your music?
The style that best describes me and my music is a reality rapper. I’m uncut, I say whatever, I’m raw. I’m direct like this is what I mean and I’m not sugarcoating it.
What’s the first thing you notice when listening to a song?
The first thing I notice when I listen to a song is the beat. You can be saying some good lyrics on a song but if the beat is not right you may lose a listener or 2, but if you have a hard beat and saying mumbo jumbo but the listeners can bob the head to it or turn up you are going to win every time.
Where or how do you find your inspiration?
My inspiration is when I wake everyday, when I look at my mom or my daughter or my brothers or also if I get a call from one of my bro’s in jail with life that’s what motivates me. Or when I think about all my bros who died and believed in my music, it just keep me inspired and keep me dropping music.
Would you like to collaborate with other artists? Who would be your top 3?
Lil Baby, he’s on fire right now, Lil Durk cause I can relate to a lot of the things he is talking about, and Tory Lanez he is a great artist that’s extremely talented and versatile.
What are you currently working on?
I’m currently about to be finishing a mixtape that’s going to be dropping this year. I’m caught in between so many names but I’m definitely finishing up. It’s going to be the project that changes my whole life. I’m claiming that…
Thank you for the interview Honk I wish the whole family more blessings for the rest of 2021

Benji Miller captures the weight of loving someone through depression on “Hey Darcey”
R&B artist Benji Miller has crafted a deeply empathetic, poignant track with “Hey Darcey,” a song about the emotional toll of watching the slow fade of someone you love. The track is the second single from his forthcoming debut EP, “Love Or Pain,” and offers a reflective look at an artist who isn’t afraid of having tough conversations with honesty and heart.
Built with warm, understated R&B production that lends the track an intimate sound where every melodic choice feels intentional. The production is free of dramatic arrangements, giving space to the emotion and putting the vocals into the spotlight. Benji Miller’s honest, understated performance has a quiet openness that gets to the uncertainty, helplessness, and hope that are at the heart of the story.
“Hey Darcey” is about those who support loved ones with depression and the confusion, concern, and emotional exhaustion that is often left unspoken. The reflective tone is an encouraging reminder that compassion, patience, and presence still matter, even when solutions seem impossible to find. “Hey Darcey” is a story for the ones who may be going through the same struggles, and reminds us that music can still be one of the most powerful ways to connect.
