James Blake – Life Is Not The Same
James Blake – Life Is Not The Same
James Blake drops a new single titled “Life Is Not The Same”. James Blake has shared his new single, ‘Life Is Not The Same’ from his new album ‘Friends That Break Your Heart’, which follows up on 2020’s ‘Before’ and ‘Covers’ EPs, as well as his 2019 album ‘Assume Form’.
“Life Is Not The Same” gives a larger view of what’s to come on the album. Featuring introspective lyrics and a dreamlike melody, the track proves Blake’s masterful range and bold vulnerability. It follows the album’s critically acclaimed first single, “Say What You Will” – which saw The Fader laud Blake for “locking into fragile melodies and bold compositional swings with ease”. The accompanying official music video was directed by Bear Damen and features a guest appearance from Finneas.
