Conner Eko Shares Refreshing Christmas Song ‘Christmas Morning Goodbye’

Conner Eko is an emerging indie synth-pop singer-songwriter located in the Bay Area, California. Returning in 2021 after years on hiatus from music, Eko has returned with his poignant sophomore release, ‘Christmas Morning Goodbye’.

The single includes some festive elements with its glistening piano and Eko’s soaring vocals but carries the powerful message of saying goodbye to a loved one. The themes of the holiday track are refreshing, facing the facts that a lot of people experience heartbreak and sadness during the holiday season and may want a change versus hearing the same overly joyful corporate products of the holidays.

“The song can be about a complete breakup between lovers, or them just moving past and healing from deep unclosed wounds. It is about personal and interpersonal forgiveness and the solace that can come from being honest and real about the fact that things are never perfect and that is okay, if we are brave to omit our own faults, and confront them and each other with an open heart. Although extremely challenging, this act can allow parties involved to open up new doors and close the one with all their problems (“a gift”).”

Eko is currently working on follow-up releases set for mid-2022 that will blend indie synth-pop and retro indie singer-songwriter elements. Lyrically, Eko’s new songs will tell his own personal story, his battle with depression, as well as include philosophical themes and metaphors relating to humanity and our place on earth and in the cosmos.

R3b3l I explores self-discovery through sound on “A Different Frequency” album

In a music scene often ruled by lyrics, R3b3l I proves that you can tell a powerful story without a single lyric. “A Different Frequency” is a twelve-track instrumental hip-hop and rap-inspired album inviting you into a deeply personal journey of growth, self-discovery, and purpose, speaking its message purely through mood, rhythm, and expression.

“Dance Before the Throne” opens the album, immediately establishing the tone of reflection and reverence. From here, “Elevate” and “The Wave” continue, adding momentum and a sense of movement and change. While the first look at an upcoming project usually sets the expectations, Mr Pigeons does something more ambitious with “Signalling Signatures.” With this release, the hip-hop artist opens up a portal into “Shining Arras,” inviting you into a world where dreams, symbols, and hidden meanings collide.

“Signalling Signatures” is an exploration of the thin veil between reality and imagination, based on themes of altered consciousness and shifting perspectives. The song is a mix of mythology, film, and spiritual symbolism and encourages you to look beyond the ordinary and find the messages in everyday life.
