Set in a desert landscape of the late 1970s, the song melds retro soul-pop sound with a contemplative tale of what’s left after goodbye.
The road itself is the main idea of the song. The journey may be over but our memories are still on the move. The lyric says that “what looked like an ending was just a place they couldn’t know. Sunset never ends, it just leaves our sight, crosses unseen skies, dances through the nite.
