Charles Barkley Slams Kendrick Perkins In Scathing Rant, “Idiot and a Fool”
NBA legend Charles Barkley is known for his candid and humorous opinions, and he didn’t hold back during a recent episode of Inside The NBA. This time, he directed his sharp tongue at ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins for his enthusiastic comments about the coverage of NBA teams. Barkley has been critical of how ESPN often focuses heavily on the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors, regardless of their performance. Recently, both teams made some surprising trades that turned their seasons around, leading to even more intense media coverage. Barkley, however, is tired of it.
The Lakers shocked everyone by trading for superstar Luka Doncic, transforming themselves from struggling to having an impressive winning streak and climbing to second place in their conference. On the other hand, the Warriors revived their competitiveness by acquiring Jimmy Butler, which has helped star player Steph Curry perform at an outstanding level once again. Despite these exciting developments, Barkley thinks ESPN is taking things too far, especially Perkins, who claimed the Lakers “saved the NBA season” with their recent success. In response, Barkley called Perkins an “idiot and a fool” for such an exaggeration, while co-host Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t help but laugh at the situation.
Barkley also took a jab at ESPN for continuously dragging out the debate over the greatest player, Michael Jordan or LeBron James. He expressed his frustration, saying, “We’ve been talking about this for 20 years. Move on!” clearly wanting them to find new topics to discuss. Barkley’s outspoken comments always make waves in the sports world, and his remarks command attention whether people agree with him or not. This latest tirade against Perkins and ESPN is just another example of why Barkley’s voice is significant in the realm of basketball commentary.

Benji Miller captures the weight of loving someone through depression on “Hey Darcey”
R&B artist Benji Miller has crafted a deeply empathetic, poignant track with “Hey Darcey,” a song about the emotional toll of watching the slow fade of someone you love. The track is the second single from his forthcoming debut EP, “Love Or Pain,” and offers a reflective look at an artist who isn’t afraid of having tough conversations with honesty and heart.
Built with warm, understated R&B production that lends the track an intimate sound where every melodic choice feels intentional. Benji Miller’s honest, understated performance has a quiet openness that gets to the uncertainty, helplessness, and hope that are at the heart of the story.
