Anthony Edwards Faces Second Paternity Lawsuit Amid Rising Star Power
Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is making headlines for his impressive basketball skills, and his personal life is in the spotlight, too, facing a complicated paternity issue. The 22-year-old player is caught up in a legal battle with Alexandria Descroches, the mother of his baby boy, who was born in October 2023. Recently, court documents revealed that Descroches filed a lawsuit in New York, asking for financial support for their child. In response, Edwards quickly filed his own legal action, but he chose to do it in Georgia, claiming that’s where the child was conceived and where he had most of his interactions with Descroches.
This has led to a legal war over which state should handle the case. Descroches is pushing back against Edwards’s choice, saying New York is the right place because that’s where she lives and suggesting that their child was likely conceived in Minnesota instead. She even mentioned that Edwards had invited her to visit him during the time they believe their child was conceived, indicating that it happened while he was with the Timberwolves. This isn’t the first time Edwards has faced paternity issues. He previously reached a settlement with another woman, Ayesha Howard, who also has a child with him.

Now, with this new case unfolding publicly, people are paying close attention to his basketball game and the legal troubles he’s facing. As Edwards continues to shine on the court, gaining attention for his potential MVP status and helping lead the Timberwolves in the postseason, his personal challenges remind fans that young athletes often deal with tough situations off the court. With both legal matters and basketball pressures to navigate, Anthony Edwards has a lot to manage this season.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream
Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.
The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.
The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.
Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.

Phlo-osophy shares a new single, “Scientist Mind (Living My Life)”
Phlo-osophy’s “Scientist Mind (Living My Life)” is a thoughtful and relaxing meditation on intellect and existence, packaged with laid-back production that encourages both thought and comfort. The song starts with atmospheric synths and a low-key beat, creating a space that is the laboratory of contemplation.
Phlo-osophy’s lyrical style steers into tough concepts spontaneous physics of thought, the chemistry of emotion — and yet remains highly accessible. The production is the strength of the production: soft, warm textures, synth pads, muted guitar echoes, quiet electronic pulses, cohere into a hushed, private atmosphere.
The result is a song that teeters between heady curiosity and soulful expression. It’s not out to swamp us with complexity, but to suggest a room in which mind and emotion can cohabitate thoughtfully. “Scientist Mind (Living My Life)” serves as a signal of Phlo-osophy’s approach as an enlightening artist who writes not only with heart, but with mind and who welcomes the listener on its journey of self-discovery.
