Cardi B Confirms Her Next Era , Third Album Set to Drop Next Year

Cardi B gave fans a big clue about what’s next, saying her third studio album is coming next year and making it clear she doesn’t intend to wait as long as she did between her first two albums.

During a chat with The Breakfast Club at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas on Friday, September 18, Cardi revealed she’s already working on her next full length project. Real 92.3 LA caught the moment and posted it on Instagram, giving fans a peek at what could be yet another major release in her career.

When DJ Envy asked Cardi how much material she had, she said she wasn’t done and had about two songs so far. However, she quickly stressed that the album wouldn’t take years to complete, confidently saying it would be released next year.

The rapper said he felt more confident, hence the change of speed. She quoted Patti LaBelle’s song, “New Attitude,” in the discussion, explaining how ready she is to move forward with the project. The announcement comes after a busy 2026 for Cardi. She released “AH HA” in July and recently collaborated with Bino Rideaux on the posthumous Nipsey Hussle album PROLIFIC. Those releases have given fans new material as they wait for her next major studio project.

The timing is interesting given the years between her debut studio album, Invasion Of Privacy, in 2018 and her 2025 follow up Am I The Drama? Cardi is promising a faster turnaround this time.

Still, many details about the new album are unclear, including the title, tracklist, and whether any singles will drop before the full project, since it’s still in the very early stages. But for now, Cardi B has made her intentions clear. Her third album is coming next year, and she says she’s ready to get to work.

Young Thug Reunites With Fan Who Found a Way to Message Him in Jail

Young Thug reconnected with a fan who sent him an unexpected message that helped him stay connected to those closest to him while he was in Fulton County Jail.

About six months after Young Thug entered Fulton County Jail, one fan figured out how to send a message to his iPad. According to Thugger Daily on X, the rapper was stunned by the unexpected message.

That moment recently came full circle when the fan got a meet-and-greet with Young Thug on Monday. Thugger Daily proved he hadn’t forgotten the one who managed to find her way to him during such a difficult time, when the rapper learned her name and knew it was her.

A$AP Rocky back in Stockholm as “Don’t Be Dumb” tour hits Sweden

A$AP Rocky has returned to Sweden, bringing his “Don’t Be Dumb” world tour to Stockholm, years after the city became inseparable from one of the most difficult stretches of his career. The artist will be in Stockholm on Monday as part of his ongoing international tour. The visit is significant because of what transpired in Sweden in 2019, when Rocky was arrested and held for nearly a month following an alleged fight.
