Drake Releases New Mixtape Dark Lane Demo and Features A Hot Track Called ‘Time Flies’

Just when the peak of quarantine was approaching, Drake rescued all of our souls and dropped a surprise mixtape called Dark Lane Demo Tapes on May 1, 2020. The seventh track on the set list Drake brushes on a familiar topic about his relationships.

On “Time Flies,” Drake addresses the famous issue of his failures at relationships. It’s not like the smooth and velvety voiced singer doesn’t put in the effort in his relationships, but something somehow always goes wrong and messes it all up. Is Drake destined to be alone his whole life? We certainly hope not!

The first verse reveals Drake’s dating methods; online!  “Finsta” stands for “fake Instagram” where people create fake profiles to meet others. These fake accounts tend to be gorgeous girls where Drake is not really considered about the authenticity of the profile rather the authenticity of the girl who is running it.  And because of these lies, he seems to have trust issues. His sticky flows and calming vocals keep us all coming back for more. Check out his whole mixtape out now and be sure to catch ‘Time Flies’ on the new album!
