Buick Audra, the band’s songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist, drew inspiration for the album from her experiences in Massachusetts during her younger years. The driving force behind this concept record was the tragic loss of her dear friend, Marc Orleans. “High Sun” captures the chaos and tribulations Audra faced during her time in Massachusetts, where she was surrounded by apologists and became a scapegoat.
