Get To Know: MoonLee
MoonLee has been fortunate to travel all through Europe enough to perform at venues such as The Delancey, The Paper Box, and the Sobs (sound of Brazil). Inspiration is found not only from the artists that have influenced my sound but from the vastness of the universe.
MoonLee itself is a reclamation of something dark and personal that has translated to something vibrant and symbolic of his desire to attain the versatility of the moon. Life and its lessons are composed of phases, light and dark cycling, things we cannot always make sense of for ourselves. His sound is an inquisitive exploration of that unknown.
A constant effort to understand something while simultaneously accepting that some things will always be a mystery. MoonLee strives to find the serenity in letting go of that.
We had the privilege to do an exclusive interview with MoonLee and here are what he says:

3. Can you share a story about the funniest mistake you made when you were first starting? Can you tell us what lesson you learned from that?
MoonLee: The funniest mistake I made was probably being afraid to project my voice while recording music my original work from when I first started sounded almost like ASMR. so I learned to be confident in my abilities and to be myself.

MoonLee: Well my current project is the most interesting thing I’m currently working on. It’s the most vulnerable I’ve ever been.
