GN$ JD (or JD) – COMMAKAZE
Commakaze is wordplay for “kamikaze” referencing the suicide attacks for the Empire of Japan against Allied naval vessels. It is spelled as “commakaze” because JD is rapping about how he is on a mission to kill everything in his way in terms of accomplishing things, creating a name for himself in music, and ultimately making money (hence the comma spelling choice).
He is an up-and-coming artist from Texas, which is well-known for breakthrough artists in the rap realm. The production is exciting and energizing, with strong percussions. JD also switches his flow between the song to demonstrate his broad delivery range. This is a potential breakthrough song for the artist.
