J0VANNA UNVEILS NEW SINGLE, “TWENTYONE”

J0VANNA recently unveiled the release of her second single “TwentyOne”, out on all major streaming platforms on August 20. The release of “TwentyOne” follows her recent single “Brain on Fire”, which blazed into the music world. Energetic and unapologetic, “Twenty One” is a retro pop anthem for people, who are not ready for the next chapter of their lives. Written by J0VANNA, “Twenty One” is produced by Terrence Rolle and mastered by Grammy-nominated Dave Kutch. J0VANNA writes: “I wrote this song on my 21st birthday. I don’t particularly like birthdays, and my 21st birthday was no different. Actually, it is weird to know that I’m 21. I still feel like I’m 15.

‘TwentyOne’ was a perfect way for me to channel my inner child and pledge my unwillingness to move on to the next chapter of my life, not just yet! Another reason I wrote ‘TwentyOne’ is the realization that the hardest part of growing up is knowing those around you are getting older too…

J0VANNA is a 21-year old South Florida-based pop/R&B singer-songwriter. She began singing and performing at local venues at an early age as part of a kid rock band and then as a solo performer. Currently, J0VANNA is a Berklee student, studying songwriting and music business. TwentyOne is part of her currently unnamed EP, which she plans to release by the end of the year.

Kodak Black’s Latest Freestyle Raises Eyebrows with Unfiltered Reginae Carter Shoutout

HonkMagazine

Kodak Black is no stranger to controversy, and his latest freestyle on Instagram has raised eyebrows among fans who worry he might be losing his focus. Once a dominant force in the music world, Kodak’s name has become linked with unpredictable behavior and questionable decisions. His new freestyle seems to follow this concerning trend. In a shaky video filmed with a phone, Kodak tries to show off his rap skills, but instead of clever lyrics, he kicks things off with an odd statement about Reginae Carter, the daughter of famous rapper Lil Wayne, saying, “Reginae should be my bae.”

He even throws in a jab about her ex-boyfriend, YFN Lucci, saying, “I’m getting this Lucci now.” This choice of words may have been intended to be playful, but it comes off as confusing and inappropriate. YFN Lucci, who was recently released from prison, has had a notable relationship with Reginae. While mentioning celebrities in rap is common, Kodak’s decision to highlight this situation in such a clumsy and chaotic way leaves many fans scratching. The overall quality of the freestyle also feels off, with shaky visuals and a messy delivery, which paint a picture of a Kodak that seems far from his best.

This freestyle isn’t the only cause for concern. Kodak Black’s problems with substance abuse are well-known, and this latest performance has sparked worries about his health and well-being. Fans are left questioning whether he’s getting help to take charge of his life and career again. Some might view his mention of Reginae as a bold move to grab attention, while others see it as a sign of his ongoing struggles. Only time will reveal whether this freestyle will act as a wake-up call for Kodak or add another chapter to his erratic journey.

Nelly Opens Up About the Hard Lessons of Fame After MTV Cribs Revealed a Little Too Much

HonkMagazine

In the early 2000s, MTV Cribs gave viewers a glimpse into the extravagant lives of celebrities. The show was all about luxurious living, from golden decorations to huge swimming pools, and fans loved it. For rapper Nelly, however, what should have been a fun showcase of his success turned into a tough lesson. During a recent interview on The Cruz Show, he shared how being on Cribs led him to make one of the hardest choices of his life: leaving his cherished home. Nelly reflected, “It was the worst thing I did.” While fans were amazed by his fancy house in the memorable 2002 episode, Nelly had no idea that this exposure would soon come back to haunt him.

He remembered a particular moment when his name was shown on a plate in the house. It seemed innocent enough, but it allowed some fans to find out where he lived. Suddenly, his mansion transformed from a private refuge into a popular stop for curious onlookers. Things got out of hand quickly. Strangers began showing up at his home, and gatherings started happening nearby. For an artist who was riding high from his early hits like Country Grammar and Nellyville, it was a sobering reminder that fame can take away privacy. “I’m thinking this is my end all be all,” Nelly said, not realizing at that moment that even bigger successes were waiting for him with his group, the St. Lunatics, and his solo career.

As fans crowded his neighborhood, he understood that moving was his only option to regain his privacy. Nelly’s experience highlights the tricky side of being famous. While shows like MTV Cribs celebrated wealth and success, they also made it harder for stars to keep their personal lives private. His story emphasizes the importance of protecting what truly matters, even when surrounded by glamour. Despite the difficulties, Nelly shares his story with a sense of humor and humility. He offers valuable lessons about fame and its challenges.
