Kid Cudi Sets the Record Straight on Ye Comments After Ebro Dispute

Kid Cudi has provided further clarification in the wake of his recent feud with broadcaster Ebro Darden, explaining that his main issue was not just a private conversation being made public. Cudi said Ebro’s version of their conversation wasn’t a true representation of what he said.

The beef started when Cudi and Ebro ended up sitting next to each other at a dinner. Cudi thought they were just having a private conversation, off the record. However, Ebro later discussed parts of their exchange on The Ebro, Laura & Rosenberg Show, leading Cudi to publicly call out the broadcaster.

They settled their beef, but Cudi returned to the issue to make another point of clarification. What Ebro told listeners did not accurately reflect the words that came from him, he said.

That difference seems to matter a lot to Cudi, as the conversation was about his relationship with Kanye West. Cudi also shared his feelings toward his longtime collaborator, telling Ebro that it was difficult to reconnect publicly with Ye. Ebro said that Cudi made it clear Ye is still his brother and somebody he wants to love.

Cudi pushed back on the idea that he had been sharing personal details of his relationship with Ye privately. He said that the dinner conversation was about things that were already public knowledge.

Cudi also made it clear he feels the disagreement with Ebro is a done deal. But he admitted the information was already in the public domain and said there was no need to forget what had been learned in terms of settling the personal dispute.

While the feud is technically over, Cudi’s recent clarification is his way to clear up what he actually said vs. what was later attributed to him, especially in terms of his relationship with Ye.

Another tragic loss has hit the Chicago rap scene, as reports have surfaced that Lil Mari was shot and killed just days after the death of BloodHound Q50. No Jumper confirmed reports of Lil Mari’s death Tuesday night, but details surrounding the incident remain limited as the investigation unfolds.

To our knowledge, Lil Mari had disrespected BloodHound Q50 after Q50’s death. Lil Mari reportedly went to the scene of Q50’s murder and mocked the deceased rapper. No Jumper apparently reposted a video of the alleged incident to bring more attention to the situation.

But there is no confirmation that the video or Lil Mari’s alleged actions are related to his subsequent death. A police investigation is said to be taking place, but no arrests have been made. The link between the two incidents has yet to be established as the situation unfolds.

Lil Mari had been working hard for the last couple of years trying to get recognition as a recording artist, and his music and videos were getting a lot of buzz. His career was beginning to draw large online audiences, with some of his music videos garnering millions of views.

BloodHound Q50’s death is also an ongoing investigation. The rapper was reportedly shot in his Tesla at a Chicago gas station a couple of weekends ago. No arrests were made as of this report, although security video of the shooting reportedly exists.
