The collaboration between the artists exhibits notable synergy, driven by producers Sam I and Shmuck the Loyal. They have engineered a beat that resonates with vitality, exemplifying their expertise in merging intricate sounds with profound, heartfelt feelings. Empress Of’s crystalline vocals soar effortlessly, embodying a spectral allure as she articulates the lingering nature of haunting memories. Her compelling and empowering delivery complements the pulsating beats, amplifying the song’s introspective core into something undeniably physical.

TRY masterfully integrates the remix with the right amount of tension and release. The hallmark of the production technique builds like a tidal wave, with stuttering synths and irresistible grooves that make it impossible to stay stationary, and, to be candid, one is unlikely to do so. This redux isn’t just a remix; it’s a reimagination, bridging intimate lyrical themes with the kinetic energy of dance music.

“Since November” by The Ghost Rodents delivers a soulful elegy wrapped in rock nostalgia

The Ghost Rodents

In honor of Florence Bowman, lead vocalist Michael Bowman penned a heartfelt ode to his late mother. The Ghost Rodents present a compelling auditory experience with their latest single, “Since November.” This love letter to a cherished memory encapsulates raw emotion that’s impossible to ignore, serving as a poignant tribute infused with elements of rock reverence.

The single draws inspiration from the enduring legacies of esteemed musical bands such as the melodic sensibilities of The Beatles, the emotional depth characteristic of Led Zeppelin, and the energetic punch associated with the Foo Fighters, effectively merging emotive lyrics with the band’s echoes of timeless melodic intensity. From the initial notes, listeners are enveloped by soulful guitar riffs and a rhythm section that offers stability, reflecting the memories preserved within the song. Bowman’s vocal delivery embodies an earnest fragility, articulating the universal experience of loss while rendering it profoundly personal.

The ensemble, comprising guitarist Rich Picinich, bassist David Aschenbrand, Phillip Buldo, Kevin Resendez, and Scotty “The Body” Zillito, brings the heartbeat that anchors the track to life with precision and enthusiasm. Collectively, they create a soundscape representing a cathartic experience for the listeners and a transformative process for the artists.
