Tiffany Haddish Dodges DUI Charges with LA Plea Deal

Last November, Tiffany Haddish faced her second DUI arrest, snoozing behind the wheel. Despite the mishap, the comedian swiftly returned to the stage, cracking jokes about her prayers for a man in uniform after the incident. Now, in a surprising turn of events, her misdemeanor charges have been dropped in LA.

Haddish, known for her roles in “The Haunted Mansion,” recently appeared in court, accepting a plea deal that convicted her of reckless driving and having her plead no contest to a traffic violation. This means the funny lady won’t be seeing the inside of a jail cell anytime soon, though her Georgia DUI case remains uncertain.

“Ms. Haddish has agreed to a simple vehicle code violation – not driving under the influence, which has been dismissed — and looks forward to this being behind her,” stated her attorney, Alex Spiro. After her arrest, Haddish expressed a commitment to “get some help” to prevent a repeat incident.

“This will never happen again. I’m going to get some help so I can learn balance and boundaries,” she assured in an interview with ET last November. Although her specific plans for assistance remain unclear, recent online antics suggest she’s back to her usual self.

Rubi Rose Shuts Down Age Controversy Over “Bad and Boujee” Video, “I Was 18”

Rubi Rose has swiftly risen to stardom in recent years, gearing up for the release of her debut album following a string of successful singles. Her journey into the spotlight began with appearances in iconic 2010s music videos. While she made waves in Cardi B’s “WAP,” her initial breakthrough came from her cameo in Migos’ chart-topping hit “Bad and Boujee.”

Recently, Rose’s appearance on the Joe Budden Podcast sparked a flurry of controversy. During the interview, she mentioned being only 16 when she starred in the “Bad and Boujee” video, igniting a backlash over the perceived inappropriateness of her casting at such a young age. The public outcry was so intense that Rose felt compelled to clarify her statement.

Taking to Twitter, the rapper corrected the record, posting a clip from the podcast with a caption: “I was 18 in the ‘Bad and Boujee’ video y’all,” she wrote. “My bad.” Indeed, the math supports her claim. Born on October 2, 1997, Rose was 18 when the video was filmed and 19 when it was released on October 31, 2016.

This isn’t the first time Rose’s age has stirred up controversy. In a December 2023 VladTV interview, she hinted at past romantic involvements with rappers Travis Scott and 21 Savage. The interview raised eyebrows as she might have been underage during those relationships. When the interviewer pointed out that she was 21 at the time of the interview, Rose’s evasive reaction added fuel to the speculation.

Internet detectives uncovered old Instagram posts from 2014, liked by Travis Scott, despite Rose being only 16 at the time. They also found a deleted tweet where she implied lying about her age, stating, “Sometimes u have to lie about your age when it comes to NFL players.”

Currently, Rubi Rose is dating Druski, who is closer to her age at 29, seemingly steering clear of the age-gap controversies that have shadowed her past.
