The incident occurred when Tyrese was out with his friends and his partner Zelie tried to reach him. When she couldn’t get through to him, she called one of his buddies. Unbeknownst to them, this innocent act set off a chain of events.
Things took an unexpected turn when a photo of Zelie appeared on the friend’s phone, which caught everyone off guard. Tyrese interpreted this as a deliberate move by his friend to assign the photo to Zelie’s contact, which almost led to a physical fight. There was tension in the air as he believed something untoward was happening between his friend and his girlfriend. Fortunately, before things could escalate, Zelie explained that a mere software update had caused her photo to appear.
“Fellas, just a heads up,” Tyrese wrote in the caption of a photo of Zelie, “One of the homies almost caught a 5 piece with a biscuit.” Although the situation was resolved in the nick of time, it’s not the first time Tyrese has struggled with his temper. He recently lashed out at his ex-wife, Samantha Lee, in response to her comments on his Joe Budden interview. He accused her of chasing clout and money, which has been a recurring theme in their past exchanges.
