Who is Iamdjjohnson?
Who is he??? He goes by David Johnson Jr. but is also known as iamdjjohnson and (DJ). He is a 22-year-old from San Antonio, Texas and is a full-time athlete and entrepreneur. His current occupation is a college basketball player, while also networking daily to connect with people across the world.
If you are reading this the main reason why iamdjjohnson plays basketball is because he wants to make a name for himself and his family. He chases his dreams to make his father who passed away back in 2005 proud of him and this is also why he wears the #23 as his jersey number because that was his father’s basketball number. He wears and represents this number with so much pride to carry on his father’s legacy. iamdjjohnson truly wishes his father could be here to see him play at his games and to see how far he has come in his career. His father is with him everywhere he goes, and he does it all for his dad and his beautiful mother. iamdjjohnson’s mother is such a strong woman who has been a single parent ever since his dad passed away, and she has taken care of his brothers and him all on her own. Everything he does is for his family to make them proud of him and to let them know that he made it! iamdjjohnson is always encouraged by his mother Tiffany Jackson, and his brothers Mo’vante Johnson and Da’monte Jackson and his lovely girlfriend Natasha Popovich to chase his dreams and never give up when things get rough, and to always have faith in himself. His family makes sure he remains to have God in his life at all times, because being religious is so important when chasing your dreams because only God can grant you the life you seek of. His family is very important to him because they have helped made his dreams a reality and they know who they are!!! iamdjjohnson wanted to say thank you to the ones who always helped him when he needed it, he also said your help never goes unnoticed! He also wanted to extend a special thank you to his previous coach Leroy Harley when he played in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) which is a traveling basketball team. Coach Leroy has helped him in his basketball career ever since and because of his help iamdjjohnson was able to further his basketball career into college. He is a hard-working devoted Athlete when it comes to having to put in work. iamdjjohnson puts in over time in the gym as much as possible to reflect his athletic ability on the court every time he steps on. He shows out on the court and makes an impression on individuals when he comes to play. He knows how to bring game and is not afraid of a little competition. iamdjjohnson is about to finish his education at a new aspiring university that will soon pick him up to finish off his last year as a senior (2020-2021). He was a junior in college at Mount Mercy University but is now officially a senior, in earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management Degree at a new university. iamdjjohnson plans to enter his name into the NBA draft after he graduates from college and also go pro basketball to play overseas in numerous countries. He also does a lot of networking on his free time on all of his social media platforms to get connected with the right people, to help him in the long run. Networking is one of iamdjjohnson’s favorite things to do because he enjoys connecting with people of all races and from all over the world. This is only the beginning of iamdjjohnson’s story.

E.G. Phillips unveils where silence speaks the loudest on new release “Empathy for the Night Fly”
The mood of E.G. PHILLIPS’s “Empathy for the Night Fly” is instantly cinematic, dark, introspective, and frozen in time. The track sounds like a scene from a late-night club where everything slows down just enough for feelings to come out. The arrangement is jazz-like in that it lets each part breathe. The arpeggiating Rhodes piano comes and goes, giving the impression that the music is thinking, as if it’s moving.
The song is really about recognition, which is when you hear something in someone else’s voice that reminds you of your own experience. It’s subtle, almost fragile, but it has a big effect on people. That emotional connection is what holds the piece together.
That choice seems deliberate, even defiant. It asks the listener to pay attention differently, not just passively. Every break is a part of the story. E.G. Phillips doesn’t just make the mood; he keeps it going. In that space, “Empathy for the Night Fly” becomes a quiet, powerful look at memory, connection, and shared feelings.

Firecamino maintains folk storytelling with new release “Juan The Baptist”
“Juan the Baptist” is a stunning single by Firecamino, blending vivid storytelling with charming melody. The laid-back indie song with folk and country influences sounds like an ancient story told around a campfire after a long night.
The song’s central character is a misguided hero, vulnerable and human. Firecamino emphasizes imperfection over perfection, creating a relatable protagonist. That storytelling gives the song a cinematic, intimate feel.
“Juan the Baptist” handles several musical influences well. Folk-inspired writing and country textures add emotion and familiarity. Meanwhile, the cool indie vibe smooths the edges and lets the track flow naturally without being dramatic.
