Wowashwow Unleashes a Hypnotic Hip-Hop Wonderland in New Single ‘Pure Imagination’
Get ready to embark on a whimsical journey into a hypnotic hip-hop wonderland as rising hip-hop artist Wowashwow releases her captivating new single, “Pure Imagination.” This fiercely talented female powerhouse, known for her theatrical flair and unapologetic rhymes, is set to leave a lasting impression on the music scene with this genre-defying anthem.
Hailing from South Jersey/Philly, Wowashwow is a visionary artist who seamlessly blends her punk rock heritage with the surreal visual elements of Missy Elliot and the untamable energy of Tina Turner meeting Mick Jagger. With her new single, “Pure Imagination,” Wowashwow creates a spellbinding soundscape that pays tribute to her diverse musical roots while boldly breaking boundaries.
The second single off her highly anticipated album, “The Algorithm,” which is slated for a summer 2023 release, “Pure Imagination” is a melodically whimsical and lyrically playful track. This innovative song serves as a love letter to every toxic relationship, triumphing over self-doubt and rising above the pitfalls of gaslighting. Wowashwow’s empowering message echoes throughout the track as she chants, “you knock me down, I pick me up,” acting as a powerful reminder for listeners to keep pushing on.
With its nostalgic ode to both Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory and the artist’s punk rock days, “Pure Imagination” is a testament to Wowashwow’s extraordinary ability to merge genres and create an entirely new sound. As a fearless female artist in the male-dominated hip-hop scene, Wowashwow’s unbridled bravado shines through in her no-holds-barred lyrics and fearless delivery. This is an artist who is not afraid to push the envelope and challenge conventions, all while remaining true to her unique artistic vision.
“The Algorithm” promises to be an exciting and groundbreaking album that showcases Wowashwow’s versatility and genre-fluidity, reminiscent of Radiohead’s ever-evolving sound. With “Pure Imagination” as a taste of what’s to come, fans and music enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the full release to experience the full breadth of Wowashwow’s creative genius.
As a rising star in the hip-hop scene, Wowashwow is determined to make her mark and redefine the genre. “Pure Imagination” is a testament to her talent, passion, and the fearlessness with which she approaches her craft. This mesmerizing single serves as a reminder that, in the world of Wowashwow, there are no boundaries, only pure imagination.

Paul Terry, Aptøsrs & Cellarscape unite on bold new album “Alternative Piano Club”
Combining his three artistic alter egos, Paul Terry presents an awe-inspiring new 12-track album, “Alternative Piano Club,” written in collaboration with Aptøsrs and Cellarscape. This is an album-length voyage of music that blends acoustic, rock, and piano-driven cinematic sounds.
Torn between this complex emotional spectrum, all the while the piano remains at its core throughout. Paul Terry opens his “Memento Mori (Chromogenic Phase)” contemplatively, creating a solemn, reflective mood. Cellarscape’s “Three Years Of Roses“ is warmer, whereas Aptøsrs’ “Questionnaires“ is much more textured as a large, sculptural post-rock.
“Dave’s Theme,” written by Paul Terry, musically expands the narrative with a touch of cinematic elevation that aligns well. “We Shape The Clouds” by Cellarscape is fluffy and heart-warming, “Writers Behind The Curtain” is somber, more narrative. We are all together in “A Place We Made,” an honest, intimate, emotionally grounded space.
The project contains vocal warmth and cultural depth in the song “This Is My Home“ by Silas Miami & Lana Crowster. Proceeding in a totally different direction is the stronger emotional clarity of Paul Terry’s acoustic storytelling on “Any Time You Want To Fly” and “No Sleep Has Come.” Cellarscape presents a wide, spacious atmospheric moment in “Cygnus,” while Aptøsrs ends with “Rust Mountain (Monochrome Piano Version),” a simple gem that brings the project full circle.
The mixing of Sam Okell and Adam Noble, the mastering of Alex Wharton and Robin Schmidt have, in many ways, brought their polish to it while still making it feel human. “Alternative Piano Club” is a work entity, where three musical personalities met and talk mind in the same emotional language.
