50 Cent Slams Omari Hardwick’s Complaints, “What is He Talking About?”

50 Cent has responded to Omari Hardwick’s recent criticism of how Power ended, dismissing the actor’s complaints about his character’s demise. During a talk at the Tribeca Film Festival, Hardwick, who played the lead role of Ghost, expressed disappointment with the show’s conclusion, aligning himself with fans who felt let down. “The story wasn’t fitting for how it ended,” he remarked, suggesting that the narrative didn’t honor its audience.

In a fiery Instagram post, 50 Cent, who co-created the hit series with Courtney Kemp, voiced his frustration with Hardwick’s comments. “This [ninja emoji] is a strange bird [bird emoji],” he wrote. “What is he talking about? I always looked out for him. If he needed something, I gave it to him. Now, I understand that didn’t matter.”

While Hardwick mentioned that Starz approached him about returning to the Power universe, negotiations fell through when his terms weren’t met. “It would have to be the perfect thing,” he explained. “They asked me to come back, but they didn’t give me what I wanted. If they had, maybe things would be different.”

The exchange highlights the tension between creative vision and fan expectations, with 50 Cent clearly standing his ground against Hardwick’s grievances.
