Getting to know Big Grizz

Arthur Marks 3rd Is 25 years old from West Philadelphia.

What do you do for a living?

For work , me and my big bro “friend” build customize furniture. We build everything from bedframes to baby-cribs to club sectionals. On my free time or after work I’m either writing or in the studio.

Who are some of your biggest influencers in your industry?

Some of my biggest influences in the industry are Nicki Minaj , Meek Millz , Joyner Lucas , Kanye West , Busta Rhymes , Rakim… just to name a few.

What’s your Biggest accomplishment thus far in your career ?

My biggest accomplishment in my career so far was actually going to the studio and laying down my first track. That gave me the drive , motivation and push I needed to take my talent seriously. I always knew that I am musically inclined but when it came to my vocals I always doubted myself. When I put my first track out “bootyclap” it got so much great feedback I haven’t stopped making music since. Me going to the studio that day and recording has been the best accomplishment not only in my career but in my life!

What legacy do you plan on leave behind?

The legacy I would want to leave behind is for others to know to always stay true to yourself , to never give up on yourself and to always PUT YOURSELF FIRST. In my raps I talk about my life , my sexuality , prison , growing up in church the whole nine. Nicki Minaj once said “ Life is a movie they’ll never be a squeal “ and I got that tattooed on my body because it’s a daily reminder to never give up & that tomorrow isn’t promised to do whatever makes you happy NOW , don’t wait!

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In 5 years , just being honest , I don’t know where I see myself. I use to have a answer to that question but now life has shown me that God is in control not me! So yes I feel as though I am destined for greatness with my musical artistry however in 5 years I could be the “best new artist “ or I could be just a one hit wonder. The world may never know ! What I do know is that , the world will know my name and my music will change the world.

François Marius and Bérénice creates a tender acoustic pop confession with “Billie Jean”

François Marius

François Marius’ latest release, “Billie Jean (Acoustic Version),” cuts to the quick and lets raw emotion take over. What you get, ultimately, is a personal pop experience that feels closer to a secret than to either a spoken-word show or a performance. The initial soft strum of an acoustic guitar creates a mood that is soft, sweet, and quietly interesting. It’s a full-throated, backbones-out piece, and every note is screaming its potential. It’s simple but riveting, and it proves that sometimes less is more.

François Marius and Bérénice’s voices sound right together, their voicings intermingle so naturally that they seem accidental or spontaneous, harmonies that emerge from nowhere. The way they speak to one another is very, I mean, they really love each other. That even makes the track seem like a conversation about feelings.

The two artists are clearly close. Romance and Eros are not just ideas, and they inhabit every note that lingers and every minuscule shift in tonality. The harmonies soar effortlessly over the acoustic foundation, a blend of sweetness and strength. It’s a sign of strength and also of a willingness to be hurt.

“Billie Jean (Acoustic Version)” is stripped of any fancy production or theatrical effects, it wins you over with its frankness and forthrightness. Sandy François Marius’s impersonation is fresh and real, endowed with depth and softness thanks to Bérénice’s presence, which definitely makes everything more perfect. This acoustic performance serves as a stark reminder of the elements that do connect people: the singer, his guitar, and a story from the heart.
