Lyrically, this track is a bit predictable. However, you won’t mind it as you’ll take it in stride alongside the lovely music production. Hannyta makes an interesting lyrical statement directly following the first chorus that will immediately grab your attention. No spoilers here, but let’s just say, you’ll know it when you hear it!
Hannyta comes from a rich background of European cultures. Hungarian but growing up in the UK, and spending much of her early years in the State, Hannyta has developed a love and appreciation for various musical styles, artists, and culture. You hear these influences in her music, and especially her lyrics. At 17, I can hear Hannyta still discovering her sound. Slowly but surely carving out a sonic space for herself as she grows and matures in life and music. This track in particular sounds like it would fit right in at a world class EDM festival such as EDC. I wouldn’t be surprised if it started playing in the matchmaking lobby of the massively popular online game “Rocket League.” This video game thrives on this sound, and I could see Hannyta capturing a licensing agreement with this track, and beginning to make a name for herself in this space.
If you appreciate high quality music production, if you enjoy perfectly placed female vocals, and if you support up and coming artists, Hannyta’s “Make it to the Night” is one to follow. Toss it on your favorite workout playlist and burn some calories. Hop in your car for a rainy night drive and put this track on repeat.
