Jason Derulo Addresses Allegations of Sexual Harassment Lawsuit
The famous American artist, Jason Derulo, who is not only a singer but also a songwriter and dancer, is presently dealing with sexual harassment claims. These allegations have been made by rising star, Emaza Gibson, who filed a lawsuit on September 5 in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County. Gibson claims that Derulo tried to pressure her into sleeping with him in order to advance her career.
According to reports by Hot New Hip Hop (HNHH), Derulo had reached out to Gibson in 2021 after her group disbanded. He offered her a promising record deal and the two began working on music together. It was during this professional collaboration that Gibson alleges Derulo persistently pressured her to join him for drinks.
Derulo, however, has categorically denied these allegations. In a video posted on Instagram, he stated, “I wouldn’t normally comment but these claims are completely false and hurtful. I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams. I’ve always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that’s why I sit here before you deeply offended, by these defamatory claims. God bless.”
Gibson alleges in her legal action that Derulo first contacted her through direct messages, proposing a combined contract agreement with Atlantic and Future History record labels, with the aim of collaborating on music.
In an interview with NBC News, Gibson opened up about her experiences with Derulo, stating that their professional relationship was marred by unwanted sexual advances. She said, “I’m at this point in my life right now, it’s very heartbreaking. I have anxiety; I’m traumatized. I’ve dealt with inhumane work situations … I’m at this point where I’m back to zero and I have nothing.”
Despite the ongoing legal battle, Derulo remains steadfast in his denial of the allegations and continues to voice his support for aspiring artists. He also maintains his stance against any form of harassment or misconduct. As the legal proceedings continue, it’s important to allow the judicial process to take its course.

Mary Knoblock’s “Peach” album is a tender journey through love, loss, and rebirth
Mary Knoblock’s new album, “Peach,” is a deeply emotional and cinematic world of sound, blending Americana folk, neo-classical dream pop, and storytelling into something intimate. The album is nine songs and just under forty-six minutes, with the feeling of a performance where every scene holds tenderness, heartbreak, longing, and quiet transformation.
“Peach” is inspired by the idea of emotional rebirth and welcomes you with warmth and honesty. Each track is a tender clutch of textures, poetic emotion, and experimental beauty. Her voice and compositions are finely tuned for a strength that makes every moment intimate and alive.
“Mustang Clover” is a free, contemplative track, while “Metal Neon Sky” is a luminous, mysterious, and desirable emotional landscape. The title track, “Peach,” is warm, tender, and exposed, and in a deeply heartfelt way, captures the emotional heart of the album. “Mother’s Eyes” is a piece of emotional depth and memory, and one of the most intimate moments of the project. The album continues with the quiet emotional weight of lead single “I Knew You,” graceful and restrained, balancing love and loss.
“Of The Alpine” evokes a drifting, cinematic sense of lonely isolation that is beautiful and lonely. “Maybe Tomorrow” is a lively, ambiguous song, while “Peach – Blue Grass” is a reimagination of the emotional heart of the album from a more rootsy perspective. “Mustang Clover – Deluxe” continues the reflective spirit of the opening track and adds emotional texture. “Peach” reveals Mary Knoblock as an artist not afraid to expose truth through sound, emotion, and imagination.
