Doom Bass project ‘Antania’ tours Texas via NecroFlesh events
After two co-headline festivals, the Green Jelly Jam Fest and Trapt in the Desert Fest, Antania will be hitting the state of Texas to promote “The God Complex” release that drop’s January 5th 2024 via The Triad Recs. Their mini tour ends in New Orleans at Siberia.
Heralded as the bass music scene’s Slayer, Antania (epitaph or the goddess Hecate, meaning enemy of mankind) is a black, doom bass project from Joshua Tree CA that consists of Death/Bass Producer Dr Luna and blackened vocalist Kali Mortem (featured in the black metal book “Daughters of Darkness”). Antania creates black and doom metal out of bass music by wrapping distortion around saw and sub bass, they don’t sample or use any stringed instruments and Dr Luna creates bass lines with a microbrute and is sponsored by KAT Percussion. Dr Luna was a bass player and keyboard player in black metal bands and when he heard EDM calling their music brutal decided to create a bass music project that was truly “brutal” and he would bring the sound and style of “Metal” with him. Antania is completely original and within their short existence have already started headlining venues and festivals (be afraid of the dark and mechanismus, black Metal mass). Their demo release “Lividity ” featured a collaboration with Hocico’s ERK AIRCRAG and horrorcore queen Razakel.
Antania, recently signed to the Roman Label “The Triad Recs”, deliberately turned down a potentially lucrative deal with a larger label in Eastern Europe. The primary reason behind this rejection was the band’s unwavering commitment to retaining full creative control over their music. The larger label, in contrast, sought not only to influence the final outcome of Antania’s creativity but also aimed to dictate the trajectory of their marketing strategy.
In an era where artistic independence is highly valued, Antania’s choice to prioritize creative control over the allure of a bigger label speaks volumes about the band’s commitment to their craft. By aligning with “The Triad Recs,” Antania has not only secured a platform to showcase their musical prowess but has also found a supportive environment that respects their artistic integrity. Adding to the new label, Antania recently signed to “NecroFlesh Events”to help expand their vision.

MTS Management Group artists celebrates friendship with new release “A Song for My Friends”
MTS Management Group artists’ latest release, “A Song for My Friends,” is a happy, upbeat song that captures the magic of being together, celebrating, and remembering. The track has a contagious energy that is like the spirit of late-night jam sessions and sing-alongs that happen out of the blue. The production is clean and smooth, but also laid-back.
The tune of “A Song for My Friends” is a toast, and it’s clear what the band wants. A party for the people who have been there since the beginning, the fans who keep coming back, and the nights that artists will never forget that remind them why they fell in love with music in the first place.
“A Song for My Friends” stands out in a world full of overproduced singles because it has heart, energy, and honesty. It’s a moment we shared that I put in a bottle and sent to you with a chorus that you’ll be singing long after the music stops.

Michael Soul hides from being open with new release “Hiding”
Michael Soul’s new single, “Hiding,” is a dark, hypnotic electronic track that takes listeners to a private place in their minds where they are alone, thinking, and feeling upset. “Hiding” was written when the author was very lonely. Michael Soul turns days of being alone, when silence seemed to last forever, and connection seemed impossible, into an immersive sound.
Andrea Mastroiacovo’s polished work makes the single even better, clarifying and deepening the song’s dark mood. The production carefully reflects that emotional weight with simple textures and dark electronic sounds that make you feel like you’re alone with your thoughts.
“Hiding” is a song about feeling alone, scared, and wanting to hide from being open. It asks questions that are quiet but sharp, like why do we hide what we feel? How does fear ruin love? And can we stop going in circles of misunderstanding and emotional distance? These echoes linger long after the track ends, prolonging the sound.
