Lil Wayne and Ludacris Set to Ignite Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Weekend in Vegas

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart‘s Hartbeat Weekend is making a triumphant return to Las Vegas from August 29 to September 1. The star-studded event, hosted at the Resorts World Casino, will feature powerhouse performances by Lil Wayne and Ludacris. This year, Hart is also set to deliver a side-splitting set from his “Acting My Age” comedy tour, wrapping up the weekend with a bang.

Last July, Hartbeat Weekend dazzled fans with performances by J. Cole, Jack Harlow, and Ludacris, alongside the finale of Hart’s Reality Check tour, which was filmed for Peacock. Beyond the music and comedy, attendees can look forward to a celebrity poker tournament curated by Hart himself, featuring 50 handpicked stars.

“Hartbeat Weekend is all about celebrating the very best in comedy, culture, and music, and this year we’re taking it to a whole new level,” Hart shared with Billboard. “I can’t wait for everyone to join us for a weekend packed with laughter, entertainment, and unforgettable moments.” Peter LaVoie, president of Resorts World Las Vegas, echoed the excitement, adding, “We’re looking forward to welcoming Hartbeat Weekend back this year. We’ve enjoyed partnering with Kevin and his team on this iconic weekend and his shows in the theatre throughout the year. Hartbeat Weekend 2024 will be another incredible experience for our guests.”

Lil Wayne, fresh off several high-energy performances, was recently seen reciting lyrics to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” in Vegas, sparking buzz among fans. Meanwhile, Ludacris made headlines with a free concert in Milwaukee, despite weather-related cancellations.

Tickets for Hartbeat Weekend go on sale this Friday, July 19, at 10 AM PST. Don’t miss out on this explosive weekend of comedy, music, and unforgettable moments!

Maija breathes new life into classic emotion with latest release “Where Is the Love”

Maija

Maija’s version of “Where Is the Love” is a graceful, emotionally rich offering that pulls listeners into a modern jazz experience of warmth, sophistication, and heartfelt storytelling. From the opening, the song establishes a reflective mood, mixing expressive vocals with polished instrumentation that feels both classic and contemporary. The trumpet’s sophisticated sound, combined with other exquisitely curated elements of jazz, creates a vibe that’s smooth, enveloping, and effortlessly sophisticated.

And the lyric narrative has this feeling of longing, of broken promises and unanswered questions that feels very personal. Love, honesty, and emotional ambivalence are the main themes as the story unfolds, providing a connection to the song’s sincere viewpoint for the listeners. Maija eschews dramatic flourishes, leaving the expressive delivery and tasteful jazz arrangement to do the emotional heavy lifting. The trumpet, with its own soulful voice, gracefully weaves around the melody, and the supporting instrumentation adds to the song’s intimate character.

The production is slick but not overdone, letting the song’s lyrics speak for themselves. Whether you’re attracted to its expressive vocals, its polished instrumentation, or its relatable emotional themes, “Where Is the Love” is a compelling reminder that honest storytelling and thoughtful musicianship continue to define the very best moments in modern jazz.
