Ice Spice Shuts Down Kai Cenat’s Cheeky Move on Livestream – Fans Go Wild!

Ice Spice

On Thursday night, rising rap star Ice Spice took to a livestream with popular content creator Kai Cenat to promote her debut album, Y2K. Known for his influential platform where new artists often showcase their music, Cenat has streamed with Ice Spice before, but this session quickly went viral for an unexpected reason.

During the stream, Cenat attempted to smack Ice Spice’s butt, only to be caught red-handed. His awkward and stumbling explanation didn’t help his case, prompting a flurry of online jokes. One X user quipped that Ice Spice had “eyes in the back of her head,” while others questioned his motives. Ice Spice, embodying her New York City roots, responded with biting sarcasm, dismissing his feeble excuse.

This stream marked the end of Ice Spice’s promotional tour for Y2K, which dropped at midnight on Friday. The week had been a whirlwind for the rapper, featuring a cover story in Rolling Stone where she opened up about her relationships with Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift, handling negativity, and her so-called “feud” with Latto. In contrast to the high-stakes media, Cenat’s livestream offered a more relaxed environment, as seen in his past streams with celebrities like Kevin Hart and Druski. Ice Spice and Cenat, both hailing from The Bronx, have often bonded over their shared roots.

Y2K has generated significant buzz among fans, with Ice Spice being dubbed “Hip-Hop’s New Princess” by The New York Times in early 2023. She’s collaborated with major names like Taylor Swift, featuring on a remix of Swift’s track “Karma.” However, there’s skepticism about her ability to sustain interest over a full album. Her previous EP, Like..?, received mixed reviews, and the early reception of Y2K is similarly polarized. Despite releasing nearly half the album as singles, none have achieved the viral success of her previous collaborations with PinkPantheress and Nicki Minaj.

As the internet buzzes with reactions to her stream with Cenat, Ice Spice hopes this publicity will give her album the boost it needs.

Emme Rain stands out with deeply personal new release “Voodoo Music”

Emme Rain

Emme Rain‘s latest release, “Voodoo Music,” is built around individuality and personal truth. The honesty in the song is what makes it heavy. “It’s different, it’s not mainstream, it’s born out of a need to share part of a personal musical journey,” says Emme Rain, That alone is compelling.

“Voodoo Music” is not about chasing familiarity but about embracing identity. It celebrates what’s special and uses music as a means of communication, an offering of experience, perspective, and creative spirit.

That earnestness is the song’s biggest strength. It feels real because it is. Emme Rain isn’t on a record here, she’s wearing one, and that makes “Voodoo Music” enjoyable.
