Dez Bryant Calls Out NFL Over Pride Month Message

h

In true Dez Bryant fashion, the former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver is once again stirring the pot and doing it unapologetically. On Monday, the NFL launched its annual Pride Month campaign with a bold new video. The messaging was that football is for everyone. Slogans like “football is gay” and “football is lesbian” flashed across the screen, echoing a spirit of inclusivity similar to the NHL’s “Hockey is for Everyone” initiative. But not everyone took it the way the league intended. Dez Bryant, never one to shy away from speaking his mind, took to social media to voice his disapproval.

And let’s be honest, if you’ve followed Bryant post-retirement, this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Bryant has built a reputation online for being direct, raw, and unfiltered. He doesn’t dress things up and certainly doesn’t care about backlash. His comments about the NFL’s Pride video were no different. While many supported the campaign for its progressive tone, Bryant seemed to question the execution, if not the motive, behind it. The specifics of his post weren’t part of an all-out tirade, but they were firm enough to grab attention and, predictably, spark debate.

Some fans applauded him for speaking out, while others criticized him for missing the broader message of inclusivity. But at the heart of this moment is something bigger than a tweet or a video. It’s a snapshot of where we are as a society trying to balance advocacy with authenticity, marketing with meaning, and personal values with public messaging. Bryant represents the voice of a segment that feels unheard or simply disagrees with how these messages are presented.

And whether you agree with him or not, there’s something undeniably powerful about a man who won’t dilute his voice. Dez Bryant isn’t campaigning for approval. He’s not interested in playing the PR game. Love it or hate it, he says what he means, and that alone guarantees he’ll remain a lightning rod in today’s highly polarized sports culture. When Dez speaks, people listen. And this time, he’s put the NFL’s Pride Month message under a spotlight it wasn’t necessarily expecting.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream

Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.

The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.

The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.

Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
