Security Guard Claims Diddy Paid Off Staff For Cassie Video At InterContinental Hotel
Former InterCon security guard Eddy Garcia has come forward with claims about Diddy, proving once again that Black folks need their own private investigators. In Garcia’s new testimony, the music executive is accused of bribing hotel staff to obtain a controversial video showing a physical confrontation between songbird Cassie. The information was disclosed by Garcia in his testimony on June 3, as he was working at the time of the event. His description offers a rare behind the scenes look at the now-shuttered hotel, where tension and hush money loomed large.
In the lawsuit, the security guard claims Khorram called him on Jan. She is said to have called Garcia from a New York area code to request the video file of the attack. On the call, Khorram, who was not named in the police report but was identified by a source as being the driver, reportedly revealed that Diddy was drunk at the time of the fight and stated that he couldn’t remember what had happened. Garcia’s answer was doubtful and full of protocol. He said he would have to schedule a meeting with hotel management before any footage could be turned over. But Khorram didn’t end there.

He says she later showed up at the hotel in person, banging on his door and demanding the video. Under pressure, though, Garcia did not back down and would not turn over the footage unless it was in accordance with the law, even so much as suggesting that a subpoena would be needed. What should be particularly shocking about what Garcia said is the implication that money may have exchanged hands. Diddy and Khorram were somehow able to persuade a so-called “few” of the hotel’s employees to sell them the video for cash, Diddy claims, and that’s when the plot thickens just like dough left out in the air to ferment and rise, and also balloons that float up to the ceiling.
Though the InterContinental Hotel has since closed, this case sheds light on the power struggles and high-stakes tactics that play out behind the scenes in celebrity feuds. Garcia’s account describes a man torn between loyalty, principle, and powerful people who wanted to get their hands on a potentially damning piece of evidence. As this story unfolds, it also illustrates how far some are willing to go to shield reputations or, perhaps, rewrite history. For now, the focus remains on the courthouse, where more will be revealed about the Cassie video drama and the role played by one of hip-hop’s power players.

Loris Tils brings funk energy to life with “IKKI”
Loris Tils comes out swinging with “IKKI,” a single that comes with energy and musicianship right from the opening note. Borne on the unmistakable thump of Minneapolis Funk, the song surges forward with a groove that feels impressively designed and still wildly alive.
“IKKI” is a naughty conversation between slap bass and guitar, and the two instruments impressively craft around each other with both precision and flair, building a high-octane rhythm section that feels as tight as it is explosive.
The magic of “IKKI” is this tension, relentless discipline balanced by acrobats of daring improvisation. The energy never overwhelms the groove. Instead, it expands on it, making this song a celebration of rhythm, creativity, and instrumental chemistry.

Eddie Rose turns racing memories into music with “Stock Car Living”
Eddie Rose’s latest release, “Stock Car Living,” is a track that applauds the roar of engines and the rush of the track, and explores the quieter experiences that turn a sport into a beloved ceremony. What makes “Stock Car Living” so devastating and powerful is its sense of tradition as an inheritance.
The story begins in a living room on Sunday afternoon, with a young boy sitting next to his father watching stock car races on TV. This simple ritual, so easy to overlook in the moment, shapes an entire childhood. There is, to start with, a sense that the races are just noise, speed, and color. But as the story unfolds, the young narrator begins to sense that something far deeper is taking shape.
The song gently implies that love for something, especially when grounded in community and ritual, often comes not from telling but from observing. Eddie Rose, with “Stock Car Living,” captures the spirit of its racing culture not just as a spectacle but as a legacy, that sometimes the loudest engines house the quietest memories, which last the longest.
