“WAR TORN” is an EP with boom bap hip hop cinematic sounds, and lived experience, global conflict, and humanitarian reflection by HZPROD. It makes a powerful sound journey, and this is a project rooted in resilience, awareness, and storytelling.
“Save The Children (Intro)” opens the project in a somber, atmospheric tone that reflects on innocence, protection, and loss, and provides a contemplative foundation for the humanitarian purpose of the EP. “AFRICA” pushes outwards and channels cultural identity, generational struggle, and endurance in communities forged by conflict and historical pressure.
“War Within” is a thoughtful hip hop perspective looking inward at the psychological battles, emotional trauma, and long-lasting effects of violence. “Peace?” strikes a delicate balance between fragile hope and doubt, and this piece employs tension to mirror the uncertain reality of reconciliation across the world. “Dreamer” moves toward uplift and reconstruction, emphasizing resilience, imagination, and the human impulse to build again after destruction and hardship.
“Slave Music” deals with systems of oppression, historical injustice, and modern-day exploitation. The EP closes with the reflective, spiritual, and symbolic “God Is The Key,” a spiritual resolution that ties faith, survival, and meaning together. “WAR TORN” is about lived history, the artist’s start in war and reconstruction, and translating personal memory into a larger humanitarian message.
