Ananda Xenia Shakti Opens Minds And Ears With “Cosmic Quiver”

Ananda Xenia Shakti & Love Power the Band are back with their follow-up single to the highly successful mediation track, “I Am Love.” Cosmic Quiver is a fast-paced, inspirational dance-along track that Ananda Xenia Shakti professes is meant to “open the Third Eye and The Beyond. To help us all awaken our New Earth Consciousness, where illusion can gracefully and lovingly dance away… and Freedom Rise.” Following the trend of capturing the essence of sacred and heavenly locations, Ananda Xenia Shakti channels this energy into her music as she guides her listener into the trance-like state in which we can connect with our inner spirit, an awakening within ourselves while being entertained and challenged alike. As a professional Sananda Yoga coach, Ananda Xenia Shakti utilizes these practices in her music to form a connection with her students, yet she leaves us with a stand-alone musical score as well. Coupled with Love Power the Band, these charismatic and inspirational chants are rhythmically delivered in an enjoyable and delightful manner, eliciting a dance response from their audience. Of course, this journey is only complete with the stunning visual performance Ananda Xenia Shakti delivers in her video accompaniment. The classical dance majestically channels the power of the deep metaphorical rhythmic passages captivates, and entrances the viewer, making it impossible not to feel that spiritual and karmic connection with the song.

Although Cosmic Quiver is not produced to attract a pop music following, this track should be added to any easy listening, meditation, or spiritual connection playlist. The mature and professional package expertly delivers on its intended demographic, yet leaves room for newcomers to fall in love with the dance, the chant, the thematic nature of the lyrics, and the peace of mind which Cosmic Quiver supplies. I found this track to be very enjoyable, the articulations and phrasing in the vocals attached themselves to my first impressions, making it a joy to attempt to anticipate the next syncopation and resolution. Paul Terry, Aptøsrs & Cellarscape unite on bold new album “Alternative Piano Club”

Combining his three artistic alter egos, Paul Terry presents an awe-inspiring new 12-track album, “Alternative Piano Club,” written in collaboration with Aptøsrs and Cellarscape. This is an album-length voyage of music that blends acoustic, rock, and piano-driven cinematic sounds.

Torn between this complex emotional spectrum, all the while the piano remains at its core throughout. Paul Terry opens his “Memento Mori (Chromogenic Phase)” contemplatively, creating a solemn, reflective mood. Cellarscape’s “Three Years Of Roses“ is warmer, whereas Aptøsrs’ “Questionnaires“ is much more textured as a large, sculptural post-rock.

“Dave’s Theme,” written by Paul Terry, musically expands the narrative with a touch of cinematic elevation that aligns well. “We Shape The Clouds” by Cellarscape is fluffy and heart-warming, “Writers Behind The Curtain” is somber, more narrative. We are all together in “A Place We Made,” an honest, intimate, emotionally grounded space.

The project contains vocal warmth and cultural depth in the song “This Is My Home“ by Silas Miami & Lana Crowster. Proceeding in a totally different direction is the stronger emotional clarity of Paul Terry’s acoustic storytelling on “Any Time You Want To Fly” and “No Sleep Has Come.” Cellarscape presents a wide, spacious atmospheric moment in “Cygnus,” while Aptøsrs ends with “Rust Mountain (Monochrome Piano Version),” a simple gem that brings the project full circle.

The mixing of Sam Okell and Adam Noble, the mastering of Alex Wharton and Robin Schmidt have, in many ways, brought their polish to it while still making it feel human. “Alternative Piano Club” is a work entity, where three musical personalities met and talk mind in the same emotional language.
