Coach Mike Souza is Becoming Known More and More as a Basketball Coach

Coach Mike Souza has provided mentorship to young athletes and helped build sustainable training and healthy habits, guiding them to develop into successful and responsible citizens of the world. Originally, Mike Souza is from Staten Island, New York, and is currently living in West Palm Beach, Florida. While Growing up as a 90’s child Mike first fell in love with game-watching players like Magic Johnson, & Michael Jordan. In 2013, Coach Mike Souza became a Skills Coach and began working with young basketball prospects at the high school level. One of them began to show results that drastically changed his game and that was when it truly clicked for him. His burning desire for the sport led him to where he is today.
His main strategy is to study each player and adapt the training to their main needs while building impactful relationships that last beyond the basketball court. However, he assures his training has no science since it is game-related training for game results. Nowadays, this talented Coach already has extensive experience and a long list of professional players in the NBA / FIBA leagues and college players of all levels.
Mike shared that, “I won’t have my clients doing tricks, backflips, or over-dribbling in workouts. We are only doing things that can translate to their individual game and the game of basketball. I’m honest with guys and tailor their workouts based on their needs.”
Coach Mike works with basketball players of all ages & levels. His ability to relate to and develop each individual has been a huge help to many. As a former High School Coach and a former Player Development Coach at the college level, he knows exactly what it takes to play at the next level. With a proven track record of helping players make the huge leap to making a varsity team, an NBA roster, or an opportunity at playing overseas he has stamped himself one of the most dedicated coaches in the industry. He is a highly sought out Skills Coach in the U.S and a private Player Development Coach for multiple NBA & International Pro players as well as some hip hop/reggaeton celebrities! Known for his proven ability to make a players’ workouts translate directly to the game has been the reason for most of his success.
This success has given him a very instrumental role in helping some of the nation’s top players grow their skill & IQ in the game of basketball through his patented workouts and film study. Coach Mike Souza’s dedication and commitment to his clients on and off the court has been the foundation for the legacy he hopes to leave behind.

Mendes admitted that despite his accomplishments, he often felt like he wasn’t doing enough. “The truth is, even with so much success, I still feel like I’m failing.
