Austin, TX trio Culture Wars shares a new single Lose Money
Austin, TX trio Culture Wars share the release of their debut EP, “teche,” along with their latest single “Lose Money” from the EP. The band, Alex Dugan, David Grayson, and Dillion Randolph have amassed over 7 million streams independently, inciting a flurry of activity on TikTok charting a top 30 on Alternative radio.
The band shares about the track, “‘Lose Money’ is one of those songs that could have easily not have happened. After I tracked a handful of vocal ideas at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, it took our producer Caleb and bandmate David to point out the chorus section, otherwise, I would have completely missed it. Thanks to them, and some insane prophet sounds from Dillon afterward, Lose Money came to life. A testament to the strength of working as a team, this song stands out as one of my all-time favorites.”
Earlier this year, Culture Wars released the single “Hunger,” a twist and turn of warbling bass, shimmering synths, and a hypnotic high register hook before dissolving into a cathartic drum and key freak-out punctuated by otherworldly guitar.
The music is powerful and exhilarating, as it takes you on a ride of musical genius, with each element complimenting the other to make the special sound blaring out the speakers. The vocal performance is filled with conviction to make her presence felt and brings the writing to life majorly, as well as a mesh with the production that pushes this record forward to drive the point home. Culture Wars’s Lose Money is a record beyond critiquing and is just music that you can feel in your soul.

Benji Miller captures the weight of loving someone through depression on “Hey Darcey”
R&B artist Benji Miller has crafted a deeply empathetic, poignant track with “Hey Darcey,” a song about the emotional toll of watching the slow fade of someone you love. The track is the second single from his forthcoming debut EP, “Love Or Pain,” and offers a reflective look at an artist who isn’t afraid of having tough conversations with honesty and heart.
Built with warm, understated R&B production that lends the track an intimate sound where every melodic choice feels intentional.
