EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH UP AND COMING SUPERSTAR OPTIK

Hello Optik, Thanks for coming to Honk Magazine to talk about your career.
Tell us a little more about when you first got into music?
When I first got seriously into writing rap music I was 14 years old and going to high school in Fort Collins, CO. A friend of mine asked me to rap battle him and I was more than down to try it out. When he destroyed me and I was unable to defend myself, I realized that I knew I had it in me and I just needed to practice and hone in on it. Throughout the year I wrote so much that I didn’t even pay attention in class.
If you could describe your sound/style in one word, what would it be and why?
Abstract. I would choose this word because I feel that every one of my songs touches on abstract concepts and ideas.
What would you say to any aspiring recording artists who look up to your work?
I would tell any aspiring artists to be sure to always stay true to their own style and never to go with the norm. The only way you get true fans is by breaking the norm and giving them something truly unique and special to them.
Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?
I have an EP about finished and I’m working on an album but no set dates yet!!!

Billy Chuck Da Goat finds his flow on new release “Vibez”
Billy Chuck Da Goat’s latest release, “Vibez,” has a laid-back, hypnotic bounce that makes it easy to listen to without ever feeling empty. It makes a place where calmness and quiet confidence come together.
“Vibez” was made on purpose, but it also sounds simple. Billy Chuck’s smooth delivery flows through the production without rushing or pushing anything. Instead, he lets the rhythm breathe, allowing people to get into the song at their own pace. This laid-back energy is the best part of the song, nothing feels forced, which is exactly what it’s trying to do.
The track changes to fit whatever you need it for, like a late-night drive, a focused workout, or a way to unwind after a long day. It has a quiet edge of confidence, it’s not loud or bragging, but it’s steady and sure of itself.

DJ CAIborg sets the pace with new release “Tunnel”
DJ CAIborg’s latest release, “Tunnel,” is an upbeat Electro Trap song that sounds more like a machine made for moving than a song. From the first drop, it’s clear that this track isn’t trying to follow trends, it’s meant to start them.
“Tunnel” is perfect for the modern fitness scene and fits in perfectly with today’s content-driven culture. The production has a lot of low-end pressure that feels almost physical and sharp, atmospheric layers that cut through with precision. It is a great choice for workout montages, transformation clips, and high-energy lifestyle videos because every second is timed for impact.
This release is different because it openly accepts AI-assisted creation. DJ CAIborg doesn’t try to hide the technology, he uses it to make the art. “Tunnel” isn’t a quick fix, it’s the result of two years of deep research into AI music production, skill, experimentation, and careful design.
