Gnarfunkel Releases a new single and music video “Bamboo Bong”

West Coast funk-rock band Gnarfunkel are celebrating 4/20 with the release of their new single and video ‘Bamboo Bong’ out today on all digital streaming platforms. Watch the video here.
’Bamboo Bong’ is the latest track to be released from Gnarfunkel’s debut album Gnarnia, which is out on May 6th. The perfect song for coming out of the pandemic, ‘Bamboo Bong’ celebrates those times that we need to escape from the turmoil around us.
“Living in the modern world can be overwhelming,” says vocalist/guitarist Tyler Lanigan. “Luckily for us, a new form of escapism has recently been legalized in Canada. Through its chaotic intro, funky verses, and bridge combining anxious instrumentals with clips of Reefer Madness, ‘Bamboo Bong’ explores the dichotomy of being high combined with the residual stigma for the soul-destroying reefer.”
Gnarfunkel’s debut album Gnarnia was conceived and recorded as a lockdown project when it became clear in early 2020 that they would not be playing live shows for a while.
“We looked inwards and decided to assemble the debut record we had always dreamed of making,” says Tyler. “It was a vinyl album from the very beginning, with each side and tracklisting planned long before any recording began. All the songs on the album had been sufficiently road tested to audiences across the beautiful province of British Columbia and went through an intense rewriting process that lasted a year.”
Armed with a plan and a bunch of songs, the band then recorded the album at Monarch Studios with Juno-nominated producer Tom Dobrzanski. Gnarnia is the passion project of a group well known for energetic live shows that were confined to a makeshift basement recording studio for a year. It contains the bottled-up energy of a band that can’t wait to hit the road again!
Bamboo Bong’ is available now on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, and other digital retailers and streaming services worldwide. For more info, please visit gnarfunkel.com

Offset Shuts Down Dr. Cheyenne Bryant’s DM Allegations with Receipts

Offset is not interested in the drama that comes from trying to gain attention. After Dr. Cheyenne Bryant mentioned in an interview that the Migos rapper had sent her a direct message on social media, Offset quickly clarified the misunderstanding. While Bryant seemed to suggest there was something flirty about their interaction, Offset shared proof to show the truth. In a comment on a popular site, he dismissed the claims as “Clout smh,” referring to the term used when people seek fame or attention by making sensational statements.
To further clarify, he posted a screenshot of their actual conversation, which clearly showed that he approached Bryant with a professional intent, wanting to discuss business matters rather than anything romantic. The public reaction was swift, with many fans criticizing Bryant for making what they felt was an unnecessary claim. One user pointed out that even if the message was presented out of context, it was inappropriate for her to disclose details about a potential business relationship. Others noted that it was obvious Offset was not trying to flirt but rather was interested in having a straightforward conversation.
This incident highlights how quickly stories can change online, especially for celebrities. Offset’s straightforward response made it clear that he won’t let anyone misrepresent him. He handled the situation with poise, and his comment, “Clout smh,” effectively put an end to the speculation. Fans appreciated how Offset managed the situation calmly and honestly, proving that sticking to the truth can often be the best approach in the face of drama. As Offset moves forward in his career and personal life, this incident is just another minor hurdle. It shows that he remains in control of his story and reputation.

DJ Vlad Sparks Heated Debate Over Rubi Rose’s Alleged Underage Relationships with Superstar Rappers

The hip-hop world is known for its drama, and over the weekend, Rubi Rose found herself at the center of a new controversy. During a heated discussion on the No Jumper podcast, hosts DJ Vlad and DJ Akademiks and guests Wack 100, Adam22, and Traplore Ross brought up old rumors regarding Rose’s past relationships with well-known rappers. Even though these claims are still just rumors, they have sparked a lot of buzz online. DJ Vlad mentioned that Playboi Carti’s team has been trying to get certain content removed where Rose reportedly talked about her time with him.
This led Akademiks to reveal an unreleased video where Rose names four famous rappers she has supposedly dated. While no specific names were confirmed, mentions of Travis Scott and 21 Savage during the conversation have only fueled the speculation. Things got even more complicated with accusations suggesting that Rubi Rose may have been underage during some of these relationships. Although there’s no solid proof for these claims, they have become a hot topic online, with many people questioning their validity and the ethics behind spreading such unverified information. Rubi Rose is known for her bold personality and musical talent, but she has also faced a lot of public criticism.
Her high-profile relationships, like those with comedian Druski, rapper DDG, and French Montana, have often made headlines. One ongoing controversy is her relationship with DDG, which has seen rumors of an alleged break-in at his home by Rose herself. The details of that situation remain unclear, but it has only added to the drama surrounding her life. So far, Rubi Rose has not publicly addressed the recent allegations. Whether she decides to speak out or stay quiet, this unfolding story highlights how blurry the lines can be between entertainment, gossip, and the real lives of celebrities.
