NYC-Based Singer-Songwriter Aicha Dosso Unveils Delightful New Single “Bien” (Official Music Video)

If you feel like having a blissful listening experience, we’ve got you covered. The singer-songwriter Aisha Dosso has just unveiled her delightful single, “Bien” alongside its official music video. A cosmopolitan artist, Aicha has already lived several lives despite her young age, as a model, actress and writer, and is now fully determined to bring her talent to the music scene.

Growing upin a family with parents admiring the iconic French singer Edith Piaf, Aicha was influenced by Parisian-style musical cabaret. She beautifully translates her heritage in the kind of music she has been making, with “Bien” fully symbolizing her taking her favourite genre and turning it into a modern slow-paced pop ballad.

Prior to making music, she has had a successful modeling career in her native Africa before becoming an actress, getting major roles like in the award-winning feature BYE BYE AFRICA and in a 2010 film CEREMONY (dir. Max Winkler, starring Uma Thurman) as well as in theatrical productions off-Broadway. She has also announced that she is currently working on her debut album to be released in 2021.

Her smooth and soothing vocals will send some shivers down the spine of listeners, thanks to Aicha Dosso spreading her relaxing vibe on the blissful “Bien.”

Gabriella Zauna confronts the mirror in haunting new single “PINUP”

Gabriella Zauna

Singer-songwriter Gabriella Zauna plunges into raw exposure in her charming new single, “PINUP.” Written and produced entirely by Zauna alone, the track is a revelation in dark pop, ethereal, edgy, and plain-spoken, all arranged with a soundscape that simultaneously sounds like both the future and the face of one singular and intimate tragedy.

Right from its opening note, “PINUP” sets an unmistakably haunting mood, but somehow comfortingly eerie, like wandering alone in a dream you’re trying to decipher. Its production is a shadow of itself, with dim synths, an undercurrent of contained chaos that mirrors the emotional turmoil woven through Zauna’s lyrics. Her voice doesn’t so much sing as confess. It beckons. It unravels. At its heart, “PINUP” is an act of self-deprecation but of self-confrontation. Gabriella Zauna questions our unaddressed insecurities, particularly the pressures placed on women to adhere to impossible timelines and standards. The result is a song that looks you in the eye and challenges you to respond in kind.

In this powerful TED at SXSW talk, Zauna elegantly undercuts the status quo with cinematic suspense and poetic grit. The answer isn’t to chase the world’s definition of success or beauty, but to define it yourself. But as if the song were not enough, “PINUP” is a siren call to any fan or listener who has ever felt trapped by a shadow of their own making. It’s for the overthinkers, the late bloomers, the ones who need to be reminded that there’s never a clock on your worth. Gabriella Zauna shows she is a truth-teller with a vision and sound all her own.

“Light & Love” by A!MS is a unity soundtrack that hits home

Honk Magazine

A!MS shares a message that extends far beyond borders with a new single, “Light & Love.” Joining forces with reggae legend Julian Marley, Grammy Award-winning producer Antaeus, and sonic pioneer Hypertone, A!MS has created a genre-bender that throbs with rhythm, purpose, and soul. “Light & Love” is a tribute to human connection, enveloped in reggae’s warm embrace and the electric charge of dancehall. But there’s a lower and more provocative buzz below the surface. Tagged under the banner of “Global Street,” a genre A!MS himself helped define, the cut is a cultural crisscross, hip hop’s wayward DNA threaded neatly to thuggish beats, drill reggae’s conscious roots, and digital age dandification.

It’s music with no borders, from people with no boundaries. Julian Marley provides the song with earthy spiritual weight and ties it closer to its legacy. His mature, rich, and as real as it gets, his voice serves as the beacon. Meanwhile, A!MS raps with the assurance of a genre as shapeshifting, sputtering rhymes that are close to the ground in street realism yet possess an air of worldly ambition. Antaeus and Hypertone polish it all off with a clean but glowing production style that throbs with the heartbeat of the multicultural world the track unites.

Beyond a mere collaboration, “Light & Love” is an intersection of the minds, a joining of cultures, and a universal call to rise. It is uplifting and prides itself in its heritage, the unity of its members, and a future of borderless music. If you’re catching it on the dance floor, through headphones, or letting it soundtrack your next sunset, “Light & Love” comes out swinging. It’s a song that sounds like hope and revolution. A!MS is building bridges. And if this single is any indication of what’s to come, the “Global Street” movement is about to echo across continents with purpose.
