Tamar Braxton Faces the Music, Takes Responsibility for Called-Off Engagement
Tamar Braxton surprised her fans by going live on Instagram to talk about her breakup with Jeremy “JR” Robinson. The two were previously engaged, but split in October. In the live video, Braxton admitted that the breakup was primarily her decision, and that it was important to take accountability without blaming herself for the situation.
Braxton said, “We broke up because of me, and because he announced it, it looked a certain way. That’s a good man, and I’m so grateful that things played out the way that it has played out. And I think we need to normalize us females when it’s us.”
This revelation comes as a surprise to fans who have been following Braxton’s “comeback candy.” Recently, she had a public feud with Tommie Lee, who accused her of using Chrisean Rock, Braxton’s backup dancer, for clout. Just a few days after the feud, Lee was spotted at a sporting event with JR, sparking rumors that she was trying to provoke Braxton.
