Teyana Taylor may have announced the end of her music career last year, but she’s still being creative.
Shortly after her retirement, the Harlem native announced her year-long partnership with Pretty Little Thing.
“Being the creative director of PrettyLittleThing is very exciting,” she explained. “It is a lot that I want to do, and there are some changes that I want to make to better the company. I am a very hands-on person, and when I’m invested in something, I want to know everything.”
The collection compliments Taylor’s style and pays homage to 90s streetwear and “encapsulates female sexuality, allowing you to own your confidence and be proud of who you are,” according to the brand’s site.
“I wanted the collection to be fun and reflect the way I dress,” Taylor told BET. “The new collection is where girly and tomboy meets.”
Teyana Taylor designed the 25-piece collection herself which features lots of chocolate brown pieces, vegan leather, and tight body suits. Check it out on the official Pretty Little Thing website here.

Lil Durk’s Judge Opens Door For Bail Reconsideration In Murder-For-Hire Case

In a surprising and hopeful development for Lil Durk, the Chicago rapper might be getting closer to a breakthrough in his ongoing legal troubles related to a serious case against him. After many months of uncertainty, a federal judge has given him a glimmer of hope by agreeing to listen to his case. According to reports, Judge Patricia Donahue has approved a request from Durk’s lawyers to review whether he should remain in detention. This is an important step forward, as a hearing is set for May 8 at a court in Los Angeles. This could be a crucial moment that may change the direction of the case in Durk’s favor.
Although Lil Durk still faces significant charges, the court’s willingness to reconsider his situation suggests that his legal team is making some progress. To support their case, Durk’s lawyers have presented a new bail proposal with impressive figures, $900,000 in real estate equity, $1 million in cash from his record label, Alamo Records, and another $150,000 from a business partner. But it’s not just about the money. The defense team has also offered to arrange 24-hour private security and strict monitoring to show the court that Durk is not a flight risk and does not threaten anyone. Their message is that they are committed to proving Durk’s seriousness about following the legal process and regaining his freedom.

What’s noteworthy is the confidence behind this move. It’s not solely about securing bail, it’s about changing how the legal battle is perceived. Lil Durk, who has been caught up in legal issues and media speculation for a long time, is finally getting a chance to present his side of the story outside of jail. For his fans, supporters, and those following the case, the upcoming hearing in May could be a key moment. Whether the judge decides to let him go or not, simply having the hearing scheduled is a big step forward. For the first time in a while, Lil Durk’s legal situation may be starting to change, possibly in his favor.

Justin Bieber’s Raw Instagram Posts Spark A Frenzy

In a recent Instagram story, Justin Bieber shocked the internet with a message that’s as frightening as it is raw, “ur bible can’t save you.” Unsurprisingly, fans and critics flocked to their timelines with different theories and spiritual grain. Before we run to judgment, consider how Bieber’s entire series of posts point to not a rejection of his faith but a painful wrestling with it. Bieber fleshed out the ideas of guilt, grace, redemption, and forgiveness in a manner that seems less like a shock-value celebrity stunt and more like a man working through years of religious search in public.
“The pinching sense of guilt may be removed,” he wrote. “No by going to church or reading your bible. But take that God forgives. The MESSAGE is FORGIVENESS.” The posts strayed into deeply personal territory, referring to his past and recent media attention, potentially regarding his wife, Hailey Bieber. “They treat me like ass out here,” he admitted before reversing the mirror with unusual candor. “My first reaction is to like fuck I’d never gossip and spread lies… bbbuttt there’s other shit I do I’m not proud of.” This is not the first time Bieber has visited Instagram to share his spiritual journey.

Bieber is calling out the deadly ways people use religion as a weapon instead of what it’s supposed to be about. It is a complex cry from someone who is still walking the line between pop icon and penitent believer. What’s particularly compelling about this wave of posts isn’t just the theological hot takes, it’s Bieber’s willingness to own up to the fact that he’s flawed, angry and still learning. To fans who have observed his turbulent progress from teen idol to religious seeker, this seems like another episode in a long, shambolic, aggressively human story. Justin Bieber is not trying to be a preacher man. He’s just a guy, only with a platform, a past, and many questions, and he’s sharing it all with the world in real time.
