Young Thug And Mariah The Scientist Keep It Real About Their First Date Drama
In a recent fun chat with GQ’s Couples Quiz series, Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist shared some amusing stories about their relationship, focusing on their first date. It didn’t go as smoothly as you might think for a celebrity couple. During their lighthearted conversation, Young Thug made a surprising remark, claiming that Mariah stood him up on that initial date. With a playful grin, he said, “I don’t know what you wore on the first date ’cause you stood me up.” Mariah quickly jumped in to deny it, exclaiming, “This is crazy. No I did not!”
This sparked a playful debate about what happened on their first “official” date, which Thug said took place at his house. He insisted that Mariah wore black, but Mariah was adamant about her outfit choice, stating, “I didn’t have black on, and I got evidence. How you gon’ say I didn’t have on white, and it was an all-white function?” The banter continued, with Mariah standing her ground and clarifying, “I had on white and some jeans. Zero points. I didn’t have any black on. My pants were kinda dark.” Their playful back and forth was charming and relatable, showing that even famous couples can have silly misunderstandings.

Fans who have followed their relationship since they started dating in 2021 know this isn’t the first time they’ve opened up about their connection. Just last month, Mariah appeared on Complex’s Please Explain, where she talked about Young Thug’s past and their love today. She sweetly admitted, “I feel like when I met my boyfriend, he probably was more of a player in the beginning. I don’t know what he had going on, but I love him down.” This recent interview with GQ adds to their story in a genuine way.
It’s not just about the glamorous side of fame but also about the real, everyday moments that come with a relationship. For Young Thug and Mariah The Scientist, their journey is filled with honest conversations, plenty of humor, and a vibe that fans adore. In a world often focused on perfect social media images, this glimpse into their funny first-date mix-up reminds us that love, no matter how famous the couple, is wonderfully imperfect.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream
Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.
The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.
The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.
Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
