NFL Fines Jalen Ramsey $15,625 For Fight With Golden Tate
According to ESPN, the NFL fined Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey $15,625 for his role in a fight with New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate that ensued after the Rams 17-9 victory over the Giants, last Sunday. The public feud began after Ramsay broke up with Tate’s sister, with whom he shares two children.

“No comment,” Ramsey said after the game when asked about the fight. Reporters pressed on the question, to which Ramsay responded, “Are you going to keep making me say no comment? Is that what you all want? We’re going to talk about football, man.
“Everybody has kind of answered it already and I keep telling you all no comment, so I’m not going to get into — we won. We talking about football. We’ve got the Washington Football Team this week and that’s what’s important, honestly.”
While Tate also dodged questions regarding the incident, Giants head coach Joe Judge told reporters that he’s confident his player did not throw the first punch: “All I can say is the account I got from a number of our players was that, there’s a history, obviously, between them,” he said. “There was a punch thrown. Golden was defending himself. I was told he wasn’t the one who threw the punch. Everybody involved was trying to break it up. I can say both our players and the Rams’ staff and players, from what I saw with my own eyes, we’re all in there just trying to break it up.”
Tate was reportedly not fined for his actions.
Rams head coach Sean McVay says the team will not discipline Ramsey.

Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show Just Swept The Emmys
Bad Bunny is officially an Emmy winner — and not just once. At Saturday’s Creative Arts Emmys, his Super Bowl LX Halftime Show swept every single category it was nominated in, all seven of them, making it the most-decorated nominee of the night.
The headline win was Outstanding Variety Special (Live), a category the show became only the third halftime show ever to claim. From there it just kept going: music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design, technical direction and camerawork, and directing all went home with the Puerto Rican star’s team. There’s technically an eighth trophy with his name attached, too, though it won’t land in his hands — the “Saturday Night Live” episode he hosted last season separately won Outstanding Makeup for a Variety, Nonfiction, or Reality Program.
The sweep is good news for Jay-Z as well. As an executive producer on the halftime show, he now has two Emmys to his name, having previously won for producing Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl LIX performance in 2025 — the show that, until Saturday, held the record for most Emmys won by a Super Bowl performance.
Bad Bunny wasn’t the only one having a night. Sabrina Carpenter picked up her first Emmy as a performer and executive producer on “The Muppet Show,” edging out Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour | The Final Show” for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded). The Billy Joel HBO miniseries “And So It Goes” won for sound mixing on a nonfiction program, and 50 Cent’s Diddy documentary “Sean Combs: The Reckoning” took home picture editing honors. A big weekend for live spectacle, all around.

Kanye West Joins Chicago Ceremony Honoring His Mother With Dr. Donda West Way
Kanye West was in Chicago for a street naming ceremony honoring his late mother, Dr. Donda West, and celebrating her lasting contributions to the city, her impact on education and the arts, and her influence on her son’s life.
A portion of 78th Street bears the official designation of Dr. Donda West Way, an appropriate tribute to a woman whose legacy remains deeply entangled with Chicago. Local news covered the ceremony, attended by community leaders, and Ye could be seen clapping in the background, wearing shades, as the new street sign was unveiled.
The event celebrated Donda West’s accomplishments and her impact on the people in her life. It was also a moment of profound personal significance for Kanye. His mother played a large part in building his confidence and supporting his musical ambitions, leading him down the path that would ultimately make him one of the most recognizable artists in music.
West had already paid tribute to his mother in his 2021 album Donda. The project took 10 years to complete, the amount of time it took Ye to process her tragic passing. Donda’s voice is present throughout the album, adding another personal element to a project centered on her memory and legacy.

The Chicago ceremony falls during a busy time for West. The artist is on a world tour and played a couple of shows in Chicago just a few weeks ago. Despite the ongoing controversy about his recent past and public reception, his repeated returns to the stage have underscored the enduring size of his audience.
Currently, the unveiling of Dr. Donda West Way is not about music but about celebrating Donda West’s life and accomplishments and the impact she continues to have through the legacy she left behind.
