Karen Harding Faces Post-Covid 19 Challenges Head On With Her Single, ‘Anxiety’

Karen Harding drops a new song called “Anxiety”.  Following the success of her first two releases, I Didn’t Realise and I Heard Somebody Talking, Karen Harding is releasing a very different-sounding single, ‘Anxiety’ on Friday 5th November 2021. The track is aimed at starting a conversation surrounding the very real challenges that many people face in their experience of Anxiety and will be paired with an interview with Anna The Anxiety Coach.

The discussion is designed to acknowledge the experiences that many are facing with Anxiety, during and post Covid-19 lockdowns and to provide some tools to help them move through these challenges. “So many of us are affected by anxiety every day and Covid-19 has only heightened these experiences. For me, anxiety has been a real challenge, however, has become something that I have been able to learn and grow through.. I want to share my experience of anxiety through the song and to open up some discussion in the hope that someone can discover a sense of peace.”

Mixed and Mastered by producer, Joshua Hennessy, the track was born out of Covid-19 lockdowns and was unable to get into the studio to record an EP that had been planned. Karen began the recording process of this track and then worked very closely with Joshua Hennessy to create the sound that you currently hear in the single.

Karen was raised, surrounded by the sounds of a plethora of classic and deep, emotive artists, such as Leonard Cohen, Tracy Chapman, Bonnie Rait, and Sarah McLaughlin, just to name a few, Karen always had an incredible passion and love for everything music. She began to play the piano at the age of 6 and began formal singing lessons at the age of 14. At the age of 21, Karen was in a cover duo, playing around Melbourne for many years. These gave her the foundations which are the basis of her current musical Journey.

Leyla Romanova finds strength in silence on new release “Self-Control”

Leyla Romanova

Leyla Romanova‘s new single, “Self-Control,” is a powerful emotional release that feels more like a manifesto for surviving modern chaos than a song. In a world of opinions, urgency, and emotional exhaustion, Romanova offers a track based on one radical idea: not reacting.

“Self-Control” immediately creates tension and clarity. The drums keep everything together with discipline and purpose. As the textured instrumentals expand like waves of thought through a crowded mind, the bass anchors the listener emotionally.

The contrast between outside noise and inside stillness makes the song compelling. Romanova’s work captures the feeling of being overwhelmed by pressure, opinions, and distractions while silently retaining personal peace. There are no major uprisings. But restraint is power. The song knows energy conservation is a survival strategy.

J’mall expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own on “Unattainable”

J'mall

J’mall’s latest single, “Unattainable,” expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own. The song explores the emotional void caused by constant comparison rather than motivation.

“Unattainable” is about realizing that no matter how hard one works to meet others’ expectations, the reward will never be satisfying. J’mall explores the stress of “keeping up with the Joneses” and the exhaustion of comparing yourself to standards that weren’t meant for you.

The song’s honesty resonates, the message doesn’t feel preachy or polished. It feels personal, like J’mall is sharing life lessons. The record’s quiet strength is its embrace of individuality and personal responsibility without pretending it’s easy.
