Atmo Nura takes us on a reflective trip with “Sunset Never Ends,” a song that lingers between memory and what’s next. Its world is a red sky, a long road, a red convertible, the dying motel sign, the ocean light, the sense of a life slowly left behind. Set in a desert landscape of the late 1970s, the song melds retro soul-pop sound with a contemplative tale of what’s left after goodbye.
The road itself is the main idea of the song. The journey may be over but our memories are still on the move. The lyric says that “what looked like an ending was just a place they couldn’t know. Sunset never ends, it just leaves our sight, crosses unseen skies, dances through the nite.
