Armani Jackson Drops a New Single “Haunted”
New single and visuals for “Haunted” from Alt Hip Hop / R&B singer and famed actor Armani Jackson, who is best known for his starring role alongside Vin Diesel in “The Last Witch Hunter”, Lionsgate’s “Cooties”, and his upcoming lead role as the character “Joey” in the much-anticipated TBS/HBO Max series “Chad”.
In “Haunted”, Armani Jackson opens about his ongoing struggle with sleep paralysis and feelings of devastating loss after a break-up. “I often suffer from something called sleep paralysis (a temporary inability to move or speak while falling asleep or upon waking which usually results in disturbing hallucinations during an episode) so I wrote this song about battling sleep paralysis while simultaneously battling the memories of a past relationship.”
The song features raw, complex emotions of melancholia and regret which he boldly shapes into smooth rhymes and complementary R&B beats and was produced by The Morgue (Trey Songz, Lil Yachty, Saweetie, Quavo, Rihanna).
17-year-old Armani Jackson spent the last decade performing alongside top names in Hollywood and building a solid resume for himself in television and film. Beginning at the age of 6, Armani’s charming appearance and the ability to perform across a range of genres, makes him a fan-favorite.
Armani is no stranger to the screen; he played Braden Morris, the “Bubble Boy” on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy in Season 10, played the lead role opposite Elijah Wood in the Lionsgate feature film, “Cooties,” and booked his second feature film role opposite Vin Diesel in “The Last Witch Hunter.” Armani then went on to get the lead role of Netflix’s Cary Fukunaga produced “Little Boxes.” In 2016, Armani was named by Indiewire as one of the Breakout Actors of the Tribeca Film Festival. His other acting credits include, “Real Husbands of Hollywood,” “Ready Player One” and will soon play Joey on the TBS/HBO MAX highly anticipated series, “CHAD,” which stars and was created by “Saturday Night Live” alumna Nasim Pedrad. Nasim and Armani previously worked together in the film “Cooties.”
Armani spends his free time developing scripts and concepts for horror genres, and psychological thrillers. He understands that there is a gap in the industry for films and shows to be created by teens, for teens. Armani hopes to create a space that allows Gen Z to pitch their creative concepts in collaboration with his own production company – Blue Velvet Productions. Armani’s aim is to create more visibility for youth creatives who don’t have the access or resources to share their innovative ideas.
While he’s created solid on-screen momentum for himself and his career, Armani has also been creating his own music. After delving into his musical talent last year, Armani has already produced a number of beautiful singles – his most recent being “Out Of My Brain”. The single “Out Of My Brain” is inspired by leaving a toxic relationship and focusing on what is good for one’s own mental health. Armani writes his lyrics from lived experiences. He does this to openly explain his songs’ meaning and aims to make them feel relatable.
As a young adult with a platform, Armani knows that he is in a position to provide a positive influence to his peers/generation. Armani is creative with his ability to connect with his expansive audience. He does this with integrity and authenticity, which will ultimately make him rise in a highly competitive industry.

Leyla Romanova finds strength in silence on new release “Self-Control”
Leyla Romanova‘s new single, “Self-Control,” is a powerful emotional release that feels more like a manifesto for surviving modern chaos than a song. In a world of opinions, urgency, and emotional exhaustion, Romanova offers a track based on one radical idea: not reacting.
“Self-Control” immediately creates tension and clarity. The drums keep everything together with discipline and purpose. As the textured instrumentals expand like waves of thought through a crowded mind, the bass anchors the listener emotionally.
The contrast between outside noise and inside stillness makes the song compelling. Romanova’s work captures the feeling of being overwhelmed by pressure, opinions, and distractions while silently retaining personal peace. There are no major uprisings. But restraint is power. The song knows energy conservation is a survival strategy.

J’mall expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own on “Unattainable”
J’mall’s latest single, “Unattainable,” expresses the pain of chasing someone else’s success over your own. The song explores the emotional void caused by constant comparison rather than motivation.
“Unattainable” is about realizing that no matter how hard one works to meet others’ expectations, the reward will never be satisfying. J’mall explores the stress of “keeping up with the Joneses” and the exhaustion of comparing yourself to standards that weren’t meant for you.
The song’s honesty resonates, the message doesn’t feel preachy or polished. It feels personal, like J’mall is sharing life lessons. The record’s quiet strength is its embrace of individuality and personal responsibility without pretending it’s easy.
