B. Simone Sparks Backlash Over H&M Shopping Confession
Reality TV star and entrepreneur B. Simone is back in the spotlight, but not in the way she might have hoped. A recent episode of her podcast, “Let’s Try This Again,” where she shares her journey with co-host Shekinah Yon, sparked some serious conversations online, especially after something she said during a casual shopping trip. In a clip that circulated on social media, B. Simone talked about her struggles with money while working on a new app. She aimed to be open about her challenges and the changes she’s facing on her path to success. However, one particular comment got a lot of attention.
She shared that while shopping at Bloomingdale’s, she felt they should head to H&M instead, emphasizing that it wasn’t about being broke but about managing her finances better. She reassured listeners, saying, “I got the money, but not yet. It’s coming.” Unfortunately, her words didn’t sit well with everyone. Many people felt that her mention of H&M seemed out of touch, especially considering that many are struggling financially these days. Some called her comments tone-deaf, while others defended her honesty about the ups and downs of starting a business. What was meant as a moment of vulnerability turned into a topic of debate.
It shows that how we say things, especially about money and challenges, really matters, especially when someone shares their experiences from a place of some privilege. Still, there is something commendable about being honest about money issues, even if the way it was expressed wasn’t ideal. Many entrepreneurs and creative people can relate to the struggle of chasing a dream while feeling financial pressure. Whether you think B. Simone’s comments were out of touch or refreshingly open, she has certainly sparked a conversation. She knows how to keep people talking, which might be part of her intent.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream
Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.
The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.
The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.
Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
