Devon – Heavy Is The Crown
Devon gives you musical brilliance with his new song “Heavy Is The Crown”. In this record, he gives you three minutes of true audio bliss, with everything clicking together to make one cohesive genius-level sound. The production is amazing in its approach to capturing emotion, while the lyrics and vocal performance guide you the rest of the way, for what is an epic adventure of music.
Devon describes the single “HEAVY IS THE CROWN” as a song he laid the foundation for while in the hospital. “The song is really about human utilization, and how energy is transferred through love. Even when I took the time to mix the record, I wanted to feel as if I was presenting a new form of physics. The swelling of the synths in the background of the record created a texture that was somber, while the bouncing of the drums I created was just the stepping stairs for my vocals to slide on, while the overall brick walling of the track was the horizon from the brightest sun. That pretty much sums up how I feel about the track.
The reality of the track is that I was in a lot of pain when I created it. I’m still suffering and recovering from Guillain-Barre, and every chance I get to make music is one of the most painful experiences ever. All of the music you hear from me comes from the severe pain and anguish I am feeling while trying to create happy vibes. This is why I say my music is just the soundtrack or background music of those people’s lives. So when you hear that phrase ” do you really think you’re special baby” I want you to feel isolated and realize that I’m asking you that question, not the fictional lady who is actually a spider” – Devon.
Devon’s “Heavy Is The Crown” is an incredible piece of art that, shows what happens when artists dare to be great in their music while telling a story. This artist gives you all he has on this new song and that’s beyond enough, as they give you true musicianship that you have to be a witness to.

Kylie XO shows power and persistence with new release “I DON’T QUIT”
Kylie XO makes resilience powerful and unexpectedly heartfelt on her new single, “I DON’T QUIT.” The song feels real with its nostalgic 2000s hip-hop sound, confidence, reflection, and emotional honesty. Persistence defines Kylie, not anger or conflict. The song is about rebellion and endurance, born of years of pushing forward and staying true to herself.
The emotional maturity of “I DON’T QUIT” sets it apart as a declaration of self-confidence, not a performance. Kylie XO’s personal story connects to her roots in Aotearoa, New Zealand, and Kaiapoi, making the single special. Regional slang, cultural references, and personal memories inform her song. These warm, personal moments help the listener relate to her ambition and the world that created it.
With this release, Kylie XO proves persistence is as powerful as aggression. “I DON’T QUIT” is strong without preaching, emotional without being weak, and personal without being universal. It shows that endurance can be an artist’s most powerful statement.
