Drake’s ICEMAN Makes 2026 History With 2 Billion Spotify Streams

Drake’s ICEMAN has reached another streaming milestone, becoming the first hip-hop album released in 2026 to surpass 2 billion total streams on Spotify, according to Kworb. The accomplishment adds another big chapter to a busy year for the Toronto superstar. Drake released three albums in 2026. But of the projects outlined here, ICEMAN has become the most pronounced, driven by a small number of songs that have performed particularly well on streaming.

The rap set crossed two billion in less than three months, with many of its songs making up a large portion of the total. Janice STFU leads with 323 million Spotify streams, while What Did I Miss? has 282 million. is second with 282 million. “National Treasures” has 177 million streams, while “Shabang” has 156 million. Rounding out the top group is “Whisper My Name” with 142 million streams.

Those numbers put the scale of ICEMAN’s streaming performance in perspective and show how the album reached two billion plays so quickly. The milestone also comes as Drake maintains the momentum around his 2026 releases, with “FOMO” said to be coming soon, adding another chapter to the current run. But even with ICEMAN’s latest feat, two of Drake’s existing albums still top the Spotify numbers. Views remains his most streamed project on the platform, with nearly 13 billion streams, while Scorpion has just over 12 billion.

But ICEMAN’s performance extends beyond Spotify. The album has been No. 1 on Billboard’s HipHop/R&B chart for 13 weeks, making it Drake’s longest running album at No. 1 and topping Take Care, according to Bars on Instagram.

That combination of streaming and chart success makes ICEMAN a major entry in Drake’s catalog and in the pantheon of 2026 hiphop releases. The Spotify milestone is especially noteworthy because it puts the album in the lead of the year’s hiphop streaming totals based on the numbers provided by Kworb.

The story of how this year’s releases perform continues, and other hiphop projects from artists like Don Toliver, due to arrive in 2026, have already racked up big streaming numbers beyond Ye.

Drake Joins Karol G in Houston for First Live Performance of “Ahi”

Drake made a surprise appearance in Houston this weekend, joining Karol G on stage for the first-ever live performance of their collaboration, “Ahi.”
The surprise appearance took place during Karol G’s show in Houston, where Drake jumped out from the bottom of the stage to perform the song with her. “Ahi” is the latest from Karol G’s project No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto, and the Houston show marked the first time the pair had performed the collaboration together on stage.

Drake made his entrance to a loud reception from the crowd. The rapper popped out from under the stage, bowed to Karol G, hugged her, and launched into their collaboration. With “Ahi,” the performance was not over. Drake stayed on stage and carried on with the set, performing “Janice STFU” and “One Dance” and giving the Houston crowd a long set from the Canadian rapper.

The collaboration also sparked speculation about Drake’s upcoming music. A rumor started that Karol G was one of the collaborators on the project, along with Molly Santana and Future, days before ICEMAN is expected to drop. Future and Molly Santana were among the names on the rumored list, and Future ended up on “Run To Atlanta.”

Drake’s Houston appearance comes as he continues to promote music outside the traditional album release cycle. He released FOMO, a visual YouTube project featuring visuals for several songs from Habibti and Maid Of Honor nearly two weeks ago. Drake and Don Toliver have also dropped a remix of Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas.” The remix has recently sparked speculation about the artists after re uploaded visuals allegedly erased all footage of Langley.

But the Houston show shifted the focus back to Drake and Karol G. The surprise appearance turned the stop into the first live showcase of “Ahi” for the audience, while Drake’s renditions of “Janice STFU” and “One Dance” extended his surprise time onstage. It also gave fans their first chance to see the two artists perform their collaboration together, adding a live chapter to the release of “Ahi. “
