Ice Spice Accused of Dodging Wig Payments – Wig Maker Exposes Alleged Non-Payment Scandal!
Ice Spice and her team are facing serious backlash as a wig maker claims they owe a significant sum. According to an Instagram post by The Neighborhood Talk, the rising superstar enlisted The Bella Brand, a renowned hair company, to create 24 custom wigs for her Y2K! World Tour. The collaboration, which initially started with an order of 19 wigs, was increased to 24 at Ice Spice’s request. Given their previous successful collaborations, The Bella Brand’s owner, Gia, was confident in taking on the task.
However, when it came time to settle the bill, Ice Spice’s team allegedly couldn’t cover the cost. Despite Gia’s efforts to work out a solution, the payment deadline kept getting pushed back. To make matters worse, “Spice’s team allegedly canceled the wig orders just one day before they were due for delivery”. In an attempt to compensate, Spice’s team offered a service fee, but according to Gia, she never received a cent. The situation escalated when Gia reminded them of their unpaid debt after receiving another order request from Spice’s team.
Gia took to social media to call out the rapper’s team, expressing her frustration: “Things happen, but that is not how you handle someone that respects your business AND ALWAYS comes through for you at the very last minute LITERALLY!!!!!! Also, you still owe me my wig back because it’s not paid for what’s going on with that??”. Adding fuel to the fire, Gia accused Ice Spice and her team of copying Nicki Minaj’s signature wig styles, saying, “Thank you for making us make all of these Nicki Minaj wigs. I’m going to go ahead and not upload the rest of the screenshots since this is supposed to be ‘Princess Diana’ but it’s really always Queen Onika”.
What do you think about Ice Spice and her team allegedly not paying this wig maker? Is your perception of the rapper changing because of this controversy? Are you still excited about her debut album, Y2K!? Do you think she will eventually pay the company? “Empatia” by Aurien & Jab Vix set the tone for an atmospheric new era
“Empatia,“ the stunning electronic debut of Aurien, in collaboration with Jab Vix, is the start of a new creative universe under Aurien’s newly launched imprint Château Bonheur Musique. The track feels like a doorway into a curated emotional space, built from atmosphere, storytelling, and immersive sound design.
“Empatia” is founded upon a contemporary electronic aesthetics that favors texture. The production is sleek and considered, offering up soft rhythmic pulses within roomy layers that breathe. Working with Jab Vix gives texture and dynamics to Aurien’s perspective and sets the sound for the song. It’s more about feeling the music than looking for peaks of high energy. It builds slowly and invites you to sit in the mood.
A highlight is the “Elegant Mix,” which takes the original and gives it a more subdued, slicker makeover. It allows the heart of the composition to come through more intimately, and this duality reinforces the idea behind Château Bonheur Musique as environment, experience, and feeling. “Empatia” is a debut statement and manifesto for the immersive, emotionally intelligent electronic music that works as effortlessly as it does in shared spaces. It’s a thoughtful direction for Aurien, where sound is not just heard, but lived in.
