American Rapper and songwriter Jayson Cash connect with LA powerhouse and 2021 XXL Freshman Blxst on his new single “Priority,” via Starr Island / Atlantic Records. He is back again with a new sound that highlights the chill atmosphere of a West Coast kickback and showcases two California talents on the brink of breakout success.

“Priority” offers the male perspective of navigating a new relationship over a lush, piano-driven beat. Cash, a dynamic storyteller, delivers unapologetic bars directed to his lady while Blxst croons in his signature style on the harmonious hook.

“This is definitely an authentic Los Angeles vibe,” says Jayson Cash of the collaborative track. “It’s like the soundtrack to driving down PCH with the top down. When Blxst sung the melody he had in mind for the hook, I literally pushed bro to the booth, I knew it was a joint!”

“I been knowing Cash for 10+ years, at this point us collaborating is effortless,” says Blxst on working with Jayson.
