Judge Denies Diddy’s Mistrial Motion Amid Explosive Testimonies
In a surprising development in the ongoing trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs, the courtroom is moving forward as Judge Arun Subramanian denied the defense’s request to declare a mistrial on Tuesday, June 10. This means the trial, which has already featured shocking testimonies from ex-partners, assistants, and alleged victims of sex trafficking, will continue as planned. Diddy’s defense team argued for a mistrial after claiming that the prosecution relied on false testimony.
The situation escalated with testimony from Bryana Bongolan, a close friend of Cassie Ventura, who recounted a frightening incident from 2016. She testified that Diddy allegedly held her over the balcony of Cassie Ventura’s 17th-floor apartment in Los Angeles during a troubling time in their relationship. Cassie Ventura also supported these claims during her own testimony, describing the balcony incident as a particularly dark moment in her turbulent history with Diddy. Despite the defense’s insistence that Bongolan’s testimony was questionable and possibly made up, Judge Subramanian ruled that it could stay on the record, allowing the prosecution’s case to continue without interruption.

The prosecution hasn’t publicly responded to the defense’s mistrial request or their claims. This latest decision keeps the high-profile trial going as the public eagerly watches. The testimonies so far have painted a complicated and disturbing picture of the allegations against Diddy. With the denial of the mistrial, both sides are gearing up for the next round of arguments and evidence. The courtroom remains a focal point of intense legal strategy and emotional stories as Diddy’s future hangs in the balance.

Drake’s OVO Sale Hits Fresh Legal Dispute As Investor Claims Millions Owed
Drake’s OVO is facing another legal battle after investment firm Applied Real Intelligence (A.R.I.) alleged the lifestyle brand owes it millions of dollars and has not received any proceeds from OVO’s recent sale.
Applied Real Intelligence, or A.R.I., says OVO is still liable for debt it owes the investment firm under financing agreements. A.R.I. said the dispute over the unpaid money had already reached Canadian courts by the time OVO closed its blockbuster deal in August.
The investor now says it was left out of the proceeds from the deal between Authentic Brands Group and Vince Holding Corp., which finalized their acquisition of the Drake-founded lifestyle company. A.R.I. claims it received nothing from the transaction, even as it continues to dispute OVO and its claims of millions of dollars.
The fight shines a new spotlight on the financial obligations A.R.I. says the investment firm still owes OVO. The lender said it spent months chasing the company for money it says it still owes under the financing agreements.
The situation is a huge legal and financial problem for OVO, especially since the investor’s claims were not fresh when the sale took place. A.R.I. said its efforts to recover the alleged outstanding millions had been ongoing for months and that it brought the dispute to the Canadian court system before the deal involving Authentic Brands Group and Vince Holding Corp. was finalized.
In August, the deal closed for OVO, marking a major development for the company. But A.R.I.’s claims have also resulted in a separate financial dispute over the deal and the money the investment firm says it was owed.
For now, the debate is whether A.R.I. still owes millions to OVO and whether the investor received any money from the sale. The legal battle over the alleged unpaid financing obligations adds a new chapter to OVO’s story after the deal with Authentic Brands Group and Vince Holding Corp was already in Canadian courts.

Snoop Dogg Wants To Pay Someone $10,000 A Month To Eat Ice Cream
Snoop Dogg has had a lot of job titles over the years, but “official ice cream taster” wasn’t one of them until now — and he’s hiring someone else to fill it. His company Dr. Bombay just opened applications for the role, and it pays $10,000 a month.
The gig is fully remote and open to anyone on the planet, which Snoop announced himself in a video that’s exactly as laid-back as you’d expect. “I love the paper, but not the paperwork,” he said, explaining that HR firm Deel is handling the logistics while he handles, presumably, the ice cream.
The actual job is less “sit around and eat pints all day” and more part-time cultural scout. Whoever gets it will track flavor and food trends around the world, report back on what people are eating and talking about, and work directly with Dr. Bombay’s in-house flavor lead to help shape what the brand does next. It’s a three-month contractor role, and Snoop’s team says they’re actively looking outside the usual resume pile — creators and non-traditional applicants welcome.
Dr. Bombay itself leans nostalgic, with flavors like Long Beach Fruit Cart, Sticky Caramel Apple Pie, and Peanut Butter Jelly Time already sitting on shelves at Walmart and moving through DoorDash and Instacart. Somewhere out there is one very lucky applicant about to get paid five figures a month to have opinions about ice cream, and honestly, good for them.
