Suge Knight Claims Prince Engineered A Dispute With Diddy
Suge Knight might be in prison, but that hasn’t stopped him from sharing stories that shake up the history of hip-hop. Recently, he gave an interview where he made an intriguing claim that the legendary singer Prince was behind an unexpected and tense meeting between Knight and his longtime rival, Diddy. For those who aren’t familiar, Suge Knight and Diddy had one of the most famous feuds in the hip-hop world during the 1990s. Their record labels, Death Row Records and Bad Boy Records were central to the famous East Coast vs. West Coast rivalry, a time that greatly influenced rap music and culture.
So, what really happened one night when Suge unexpectedly found himself face to face with Diddy. According to Suge, the encounter took place at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. He remembers someone approaching him with a surprising invitation, Prince wanted him to come watch his show, and even had a reserved table for him. Curious, Suge left his friends behind and went to the venue alone, only to find Diddy, Nas, and others sitting at the same table. Suge felt it was a clever setup, believing Prince was behind it. “Prince is the coolest gangster in the world,” Suge joked, recalling how the music icon played his guitar on stage before looking over at him with a knowing smile. “He must have been upset with Puffy since he put me right at that table.”
The scene sounds like something out of a movie, two of hip-hop’s biggest figures, who had just come out of a heated rivalry, forced to be in the same place while Prince provided the music. Was this an experiment? A way to see how they would react? Or just Prince enjoying a little mischief? Given Prince’s mysterious nature, it could easily be any or all of those things. While the specifics of that night remain unclear, Suge Knight’s stories continue to engage listeners, showing us that the history of hip-hop is full of surprises, often involving unexpected players, sometimes wearing purple and playing a guitar.

Michael Soul hides from being open with new release “Hiding”
Michael Soul’s new single, “Hiding,” is a dark, hypnotic electronic track that takes listeners to a private place in their minds where they are alone, thinking, and feeling upset. “Hiding” was written when the author was very lonely. Michael Soul turns days of being alone, when silence seemed to last forever, and connection seemed impossible, into an immersive sound.
Andrea Mastroiacovo’s polished work makes the single even better, clarifying and deepening the song’s dark mood. The production carefully reflects that emotional weight with simple textures and dark electronic sounds that make you feel like you’re alone with your thoughts.
“Hiding” is a song about feeling alone, scared, and wanting to hide from being open. It asks questions that are quiet but sharp, like why do we hide what we feel? How does fear ruin love? And can we stop going in circles of misunderstanding and emotional distance? These echoes linger long after the track ends, prolonging the sound.
