Recently, some of the rapper’s confiscated jewelry and music awards were sold at an auction in South Florida, reaching astonishing prices after being taken by the IRS for unpaid taxes. Jacob Kodner, who helps run the auction house, shared that the turnout was incredible. “We saw major buyers acquiring multiple pieces, whether it was several plaques or a combination of luxury items,” Kodner explained. “This wasn’t merely fan-driven, it was a serious auction for high end collectors.”

The results speak for themselves, as over 90 percent of the items sold for more than expected, indicating that Tekashi still has a strong presence in the collector’s market. Some standout items were his platinum music awards, which celebrate important moments in his career. For instance, his popular 2018 song “BEBE” was sold for an impressive $24,320, while the award for his breakout hit “Gummo” went for a remarkable $18,240. “Collectors and fans alike recognized these plaques as irreplaceable pieces of music history. Buyers weren’t just investing in memorabilia, they were investing in legacy. Each award represents a significant moment in music history, and we believe that’s what drove these impressive prices.” Kodner explained.

The auction also featured some of Tekashi’s luxurious accessories, which fetched high prices. A fancy Hermès Birkin bag sold for an eye-popping $23,680, and a Cartier Santos watch went for $22,080. It was clear that people were eager to own a piece of his extravagant lifestyle, even amidst his controversies. This auction highlighted the lasting impact of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s rise in the music world. Whether people love or dislike him, there’s no denying that his influence still holds weight. Dian Sheng explores identity, life and love with “Sid” album

Dian Sheng releases his long-awaited first English-language album, “Sid,” a genre-defying collection of songs that includes pop, rock, electronic, and jazz. “Sid” is a deep, meditative exploration of identity, relationships, and self-growth, spanning 29 minutes and 12 seconds across eight tracks. This album is a personal exploration of the complex emotions of mankind and the vitality and jubilation of life.

From the opening track, “Right Now,” Dian Sheng establishes a sense of urgency and reflection. The upbeat song “I Come From Far” examines the connection between the self and one’s environment. It has joyful beats and layers that make you think and feel like part of the narrative.

The jazz ballad “Undecided Love” delves into the complexities of modern romance, featuring tender vocals and instrumentation that showcase Sheng’s delicate touch as a songwriter. “It Will Be Alright” is an empowering anthem about overcoming life’s biggest obstacles, combining electronic beats with a rock influence.
