Interview With R&B Emerging Artist Pariz Noir

We had a pleasure to chat with Pariz Noir, an R&B singer you better start to follow!

Hello Pariz Noir! Welcome to Honk Magazine! Can you tell our readers a little more about yourself?

I’m from Colombia but lived in Miami nearly my whole life.

How do you find your inspiration?

If it’s not me finding it within myself and my own life and experiences, I find it within everyday situations good or bad. Inspiration really is all around us. Literally. Sometimes you just need to put your phone down and look up. Or quiet down and listen.

What message do you want to send to your audience through your latest single ‘Save Yourself’?

That I know what it feels like to fall out of love or to have love for someone but not necessarily be in love with them and it’s okay to subtract yourself from the equation if staying hurts more. However, it’s important to remain honest not only with yourself but with the other person because there are two hearts involved, not just one. Leading someone on is never cool, in fact it’s cowardly. On another note, you are worthy of love so if you do love someone, go for it.

Are you more of a solo artist or a team player? Are there any producers or singers you would like to collaborate with in the future?

I’m solo. Definitely would love to collaborate with other artists but it’s too many to name.

All your previous releases represent smooth and dark R&B – are you planning to experiment a bit with other genres in the future?

Yes, but definitely in the future.

Last year treated us all pretty harshly with the worldwide pandemic, how did it impact you and your work?

I was unemployed for about six months, it was terrible but it could always be worse so I’m thankful it wasn’t.

What are some of the projects you are currently working on?
